I think MS Surface Headphones 2 is a better choice in about the same price range

i wouldn't trust any wireless headphones without at least aptX-HD support or similar, preferrably LDAC, personally. i own a pair of Sony's WH1000-XM2, which i first paired with an older device that only supported regular aptX. when i upgraded to a newer phone with LDAC support, the difference was very real and noticable.
sample size of 1, mind you, but that's my experience

I genuinely thought they would be BASS-CANNONS like all consumer-aimed stuff. Glad to see these aren't, might be worth giving them a listen. Don't have high expectations tho, coming from a gaming brand, but still will give them a try.

Yasyas, Hamburger, it's not the 1000XM2/XM3s in overall design, the only 1000X-esque are the NC mic holes on the top-part of the cups and the hardware buttons.
The overall design are almost exactly identical to the MDR-100ABN/WH-H900 series with the chiseled flat surfaces, the "Razer" branding placement, the off-center joint hinge, and that distinct cup design. Look it up. That's the true copy-paste situation here.

So this Razer is not exactly what I'll call a re-badge Sony, far from it.
