Best part of this series is its affordable aspects as well as features like Google Assistant. Mediatek as a processor is a good choice on Realme's part.

It is really disgusting that when any news item or review is published here, majority of the commentators start calling names, bashing products and throwing words at each other. Let us accept that not everyone is rich or poor, not everyone wants 4k and not everyone wants a xiaomi, apple or samsung. Every product, regardless of the specs has a niche and need that it fulfils in the society. And by the way, the pricing of these products are not necessarily dependent on the specifications on paper. There are manufacturers that will give the best hardware but cut a few corners to lower the price. Eventually these ommissions end up ruining user experience in the long run regardless of the hardware. So instead of this drama, why dont you visit these stores and interact with the products and tell us about your experience. This idea of specs, specs, specs and comparisons with inferior brands should stop. For instance, my grandmother uses a tecno smartphone for calls only, she doesnt care about specs, hdr, 4k or such crap, only the large display for proper vision. Instead, lets give useful opinions that can make potential buyers make proper decision on the items. By doing this we can influence other people positively and make gsmarena a better platform for tech reviews.

Vegetaholic, 26 May 2020WebOS is pretty much dominant OS and best TV OS in high end... moreWebOS really sucks mate. I didn't used Android TV or New Tizen but I highly doubt WebOS is better than Android TV

Hello Life, 26 May 2020Before blaming others.. learn to read properly. I definitel... moreMaybe you have a problem comprehending even what you typed. Majority of TV users certainly aren't using 2K+ TVs "from the likes of samsung, sony or LG." So what were you even saying?

Then you clearly said "even budget phones are coming with 2k display from xiaomi and onplus." There aren't any budget phones from those companies with said display resolution. There's no way the One+ 8 pro qualifies as a budget phone. No way! You could have said "cheaper flagships than the mainstream ones" and be done with it, not "budget phones." Do you even know what that means?

And do you mind pointing out were I supported FHD, or you just hate dealing with the reality?

I have zero buffering in HDR 10.. Now let me tell you.. I have visited Japan, South korea, Singapore and Thailand. These 4 countries put my country to shame with their 2GBPS 1ms ping connections. Specially in south korea.. every cafe out there has like 1gbps free wifi. Japan is also very good, but slightly higher pings. forget 4k videos, with this kind of connection people are playing AAA title games on stadia LIVE.. which takes like 4 times the bandwidth. I don't know which world you are living in. But go check out the TV store near your house.. 4k TVs are like 300 dollars right now. Why would anyone buy FHD Tv just to save like 50 dollars or so? It doesn't make any sense

Cyberchum, 26 May 2020Keep telling yourself that. Majority of users in the world ... moreBefore blaming others.. learn to read properly. I definitely said.. Tv serials are available in FHD.. But it looks better when up scaled as compared to native resolution. Regarding 2k displays.. i meant the likes of oneplus 8 pro.. xiaomi black shark 3. etc These are budget flagships which cost 3 times less than top of the line samsung and iphone flagships in my country. Even if you consider the most affordable storage option in iphone 11 pro max.. the oneplus 8 pro is half the price, which is budget according to me. Forget current gen flahsips and you can even get 4k in mobile phone from Sony.. and plethora of 2k phone like s10, lg g7.. and what not.. And yes 2k and fhd is distinguishable in phones.. more so in pc.. and very easily in TVs. The richest few already moved to 8k and you are supporting FHD lol.. why buy smart tv if you are gonna watch serials? buy a second hand CRT and watch at 480 which you can probably afford

China accounts for approximately 20% of the worlds population

Are you saying that 20% of the world has 5g then????

When I say Standard definition I'm talking about the native source of the content most of the world is still on Standard definition that gets upscaled

If you think high data plans to stream at 4k is cheap and normal you don't know what going on in the real world

The prices will be one of the highlights of these TVs along with the integrated features.

IpsDisplay, 25 May 2020The fact that you ask me what country I live in proves you ... moreNo the world is definitely not in SD anymore.. The top 3 biggest economies by GDP PPP, consists of population more than 50% of the world, CHINA, USA AND INDIA.. and all of these countries have very fast and cheap internet connection. In my country I get 300mbps at 15$.. and 100mbps at 8$.. unlimited broadband. We buy smart TV because we can stream internet on it and watch youtube and other stuff. If not than what’s the point of getting a “SMART” TV? Most creators on internet are posting 4k videos and the numbers are increasing as 4k cams and 4k editing solutions get cheaper. And even If I consider your point that most TV channels are in Full HD which is true for my country with 1.3 billion population ( Yes in 2019 we moved to fullHD/720p setup box as mandatory govt solution) I imagine most countries in west has long done so..The 1080p video on 1080p panel looks worse than the 1080p/720p automatically upscaled to 4k. Now don’t expect good upscaling in sub standard brands.. Only from the likes of samsung, sony or LG.. oneplus is good as well. Same goes for 8k.. while the content is not native 4k, or 8k.. upscaling is really magic with modern technology. You have to see it to believe it. You can tell the difference Very easily. So yes 4k is totally worth it for serial, movies and streaming. And yes nobody uses 4g or 5g for streaming on TV.. A 4k video will suck the data cap in minutes.. so broadband is mandatory for 4k or 8k.. Its dirt cheap now and 1080p is outdated for sure. Even budget phones are coming with 2k display from xiaomi and onplus. And you can tell the difference.. forget big sceen tvs
