AnonD-120291, 27 May 2020only one fan boy here twining on about a non existant issue... moreThe irony in everything you said, you're the only sheep and the only one who can only see things from one perspective. You said you don't know of any issues with burn in on OLED from the last 3 years then when I show you evidence you say "oh well that was a 2.5 year old phone". You were the one who said 3 years so I was working within parameters you set.
Maybe you think having burn in after only a couple years isn't an issue, but to me and to anyone who isn't a dullard it is an issue. An unacceptable one at that
I didn't say LCD is perfect but it's lifespan is generally much better than OLED. If you want to be wasteful and change your phone every year then maybe the burn in problem won't affect you but I keep my phone's for around 3 years.
Tbh, judging by your username I'm not surprised you're so ignorant. You keep on fanboying over a type of display. It's not ridiculous at all

IpsDisplay, 27 May 2020Stop the propaganda please LCD does get image persistent... moreyou clearly have no clue about tech, so BRAVO, i have had LCD with their own burn in issues, so until you know what you are talking about, go and sit down, I also didnt say anything about I know a guy, I said I have never seen an article for years regarding burn in with Amoled displays in my original post, I then rebuffed the other commenters post, he used Jerryrig as an example which is a poor choice, given how hard he works his phones, especially one he KEPT for 2.5 years and then did infact show some burn in, come to my store and show me there is no such thing as burn in on LCDS and I will take it all back, I could show you screens with such damage, lcd and amoled mobile phone displays are no better or worse on the whole with burn in or image retention, FACT, both can be fixed usually with by running high contrast/high colour fast moving videos played across the entire screen, that is another FACT. no jog on mr clueless

AnonD-120291, 27 May 2020only one fan boy here twining on about a non existant issue... moreStop the propaganda please
LCD does get image persistent before it gets to that point it takes years or extreme abuse and is rarely rarely ever permanent
Oled on the other hand is made up of organic materials that literally decays and when burn in sets in no 8 flushing can fix it( you must be confusing image persistence VS burn in)
If oled has a tiny portion to when burn in sets in LCD in comparison is virtually zero
I'm tired of hearing these I knew a guy story about OLEDs and they are ok for 3years chances are there is burn in all over the green but at a level where the user is ok with it
A simple full gray background reveals tones of burn in but the users are ok with it and that's fine, most of those users are casual anyways

Anders, 27 May 2020Watch this video from JerryRigEverything https://youtu.be/7... moreonly one fan boy here twining on about a non existant issue with Amoled over LCD, and pointed a link to a person who is a professional hardcore phone user who had his phone for over 2.5 years, you also are to blind to realise that LCD displays have their own version of burn in Called Image persistance, but of course a s h e e p would only see one side of the coin, bravo goon, what you cant grasp is that this is a very tiny proportion of all amoled issues, and was infact on multiple S8 models, a simple 8 minute flushing video also fixes it, but again, bravo for being one sided

All you guys do is support random android companies by bashing apple and saying "bla bla bla, no fast chargin g no "ultrawide and telephoto cameras" no good software no flexibility no no no no no" and yet apple is doing better then ever in terms of sales and profit. Seriously, who in the 99% of non techy people actually care about the "latest features of software"? So remember, we need you android fanbois to keep on bashing apple, cause it only helps sales! So keep up the hard work!
And no, 5 years later IOS is far more feature packed then any android software 5 years ago. You know what, let's compare IOS 13 with android 5! IOS is SOOO superior

By your logic, why don't we start using processors from that era as well?

Android Master, 27 May 2020Every feature that the iPhone lacks is termed as gimmick by... moreEvery single show-off feature that phone companies make(that aren't that important in real-world usage) are called "renovating" by you android fanbois.
And why should I try trust you anyways? It seems that you never ever used a phone with a 4.7 inch or smaller display before. That means you only have like 1 year of experience.
Premium operating system? Ahem, tons upon tons of $100 android phones? With like 1 year of actual support? lol.
The only real advantage is the camera count(notice that I said COUNT, not actual performance), maybe the display resolution.
And at most, this device is actually niche. Fam, who needs mmwave 5G when it is literally nowhere to be found? Who needs telephoto and ultrawide cams when both are like 8MP? iPHone SE is already faster, for sure(this is midrange vs. flagship, absolutely no competition). Why do you even want IP53 water ressistance when it literally resists no water?
Yes, all those features ARE gimmicks(except for the ultrawide and tele cameras of course). On the other hand, iPhone has actually useful features, like great video and photo quality(AI proccesing), smooth performance, wireless charging, and a USEFUL IP rating.

I guess in a week or so, price will go down even more, yes it's a base version (3/64GB), but still, for 130 euros it seems like usable phone, for someone.

Personally I wouldn't touch that low resolution midget screen on SE 2020 with a 10 foot pole.
SE is 3rd grade device.
