Anonymous, 29 May 2020yup.. me tooWhy would you consider the best solution for front camera as a dealbreaker ?

Me as a satisfied user of the F1 would just say... sigh, rebrand. Nice phone but it's a Redmi, not in a negative way. Being a rebrand is not the problem here but the Poco as a (re)brand itself and I just started to ask myself, why does this (re)brand Poco even exist?

Any news about it being available for purchase? You used to list the countries in which Xiaomi phones are to be released.

Davidariyan, 28 May 2020For me, pop up camera is a dealbreaker.yup.. me too

Anonymous, 29 May 2020Why? People normaly will not research if a mod is available... moreMore than 40-50% Xiaomi users know about gcam.
It's extremely popular on their budget devices.

You don't need some deep research to find this mod.
Everything from apk to cinfig files with step by step instructions available on YouTube.
Just enter phone model and gcam in search box.

You just jealous coz Huawei doesn't have gcam and never will.
You are highly dependent on the manufacturer to fix camera issues while Xiaomi users aren't.

IpsDisplay, 28 May 2020A decent phone by itself A horrible joke for a successor... moreYou couldn't have said it any better. You've perfectly encapsulated everything wrong the successor(s) to the F1. That was specifically developed to be the Poco F1. Now they are just rebranding Redmi K series phones. Pop-up cameras, glass body, no SD card are all needless, useless, expensive upgrades. Xiaomi needs to engineer a Poco F2 with planned sourcing and operational costs to meet that price-point. Be that with an older 855 SoC, plastic build, fewer/mid-range cameras, IPS screens and whatever other gimmicks can be cut down and trimmed. The beauty of the F1, like you said, was it had no gimmicks.

Anonymous, 29 May 2020Why? People normaly will not research if a mod is available... moreThen most people won't even realize that the cameras are mediocre.

Anonymous, 29 May 2020Why review a rebranded product? This is the old K30 Pro but... moreYou do realize this is the global version of the K30 Pro, right? The K30 Pro is only released in few countries.

Why review a rebranded product? This is the old K30 Pro but overpriced. Nothing new.

XCIV, 29 May 2020A Gcam mod perhaps? Why? People normaly will not research if a mod is available. The product as you buy it is what it is, an overpriced rebranded Redmi K30 Pro.

A real deal breaker is this phone uses Google apps for calling, which means calls cannot be recorded and I'm not the guy who are into os changes.

Overall I like it. But not buying.

I just wish I could buy the K30 Pro Zoom Edition globally.
