Huawei P20 Pro and Mate 10 are now getting Android 10 with EMUI 10 globally

The Mate 10 is two and a half years old at this point, it's good to see it wasn't forgotten.

Namelesss, 29 May 2020Actually the Mate 10 series and P20 Pro both came out with ... moreWhat do you mean normal ? Some brands only provide 1 Android update and security updates for 1 year.

Havent received any upgrade to my P20 pro yet. How long does it take? How long do i need to wait? Im from the Philippines. Thanks.

Namelesss, 29 May 2020Actually the Mate 10 series and P20 Pro both came out with ... moreThe thing is, that at least with the Mate series, you get the advantage of getting one more update than it's competitor phones.

            See this: https://www.gsmarena.com/compare.php3?idPhone1=8854&idPhone2=8505

            Note8 2017 = 7.1 > 9.0
            Mate10 2017 = 8.0 > 10.0

You're still getting 2 os updates, but the second update here is better than most of it's competitors.

Shui8, 29 May 2020Kudos Huawei. 2 major Android update. Waiting for 10.1 on m... moreTrue ... this one of their advertising that live up to expectation.

personally i have used both huawei and samsung flagship ... after a year, huawei device still running smooth compared to samsung ... samsung device still inherited the bad part of touchwiz even in one ui.

Actually the Mate 10 series and P20 Pro both came out with Android 8 Oreo, so it is just normal that they get updated to Android 10.

No update for Mate 10 Pro yet? :/

Oh my god, finally! It took them years to send the update to my P20pro which isn't yet showing up but hey I've got hopes at least now 😂😂 Having in mind that the mate 10 is older than the p20 and receiving the update at the same time is quite remarkable but as a p20 pro owner I'm disappointed because for a newer device it took them the same time as the mate 10 to send the update.

Here's to hoping Android brands generalize long term updates, even if just for more popular/top of the line devices.
That would make a world of difference.
                            Well done Huawei.

Those 2 models deserves this update.
                              2 really, really good phones.

                              Well done Huawei (Y)
