I'd prefer LCD on smartphones as the clarity/sharpness is better than AMOLED and much cheaper. I hope Poco releases a new phone at the cost of the Poco F1.

It has only become more common in recent phones. And with IPS it is not so much of a problem anyway, because the frequency of the flickering is much faster which means that it has less of an effect in regards to headaches and eyestrain.

Stuck behind eve... moreOLED is an absolutely horrid technology, why would anyone want a display with awful oversaturated colours, a fuzzy pentile pixel matrix, Pulse-Width Modulation flickering that causes headaches and eyestrain, and smearing whilst scrolling content on black backgrounds... Urm, no thanks.

The power board and main board fried 1 month after the warranty expired.... The repair cost was 80% the purchase price (the 2 boards were damn expensive)

Speaking from my personal experience, LG's panel quality (at least large screens) has become total garbage.
It might not be ultra high end but my last 3 high end LG purchases ( 2 TVs + 1 monitor) in the past 6 years which were using LG panels (the actual stuff, not just LG OEM packaging) failed within 3 years of usage.
TVs lost backlighting, one went out totally and the other one started dropping that old school button reflectors randomly and the monitor started showing massive ghosting around the edges with minor ghosting everywhere else.
YMMV but this customer, who also weighs in on the business purchases, will take his business elsewhere and any OEM stuff wth LG panels will be my absolute last choice...and only if I have zero other alternatives.
