If it only had a pop-up camera...
Only this punch-hole is preventing me from getting this phone.

Wow! Look at those camera designs especially the Pro. Just Wow!
Honestly, I am not interested in Vivo because it is too mainstream in our place along with Oppo. But these X50-series interest me: curved Amoled display, stunning design, OIS in camera, fast charging, and lower pricetag compared to other flagships.

It's not just the hardware that counts, it's the software. A lot of good camera have been hampered by poor software algorithm.

Based on the initial testing results presented on various forums, Vivo's gimbal-stabilizer does seem to deliver on its promise. In terms of motion-tracking videography, X50Pro now appears to be in a leading position.
In terms of general purpose photography, X50Pro+ should be respectful, but I don't expect X50Pro+ to challenge P40Pro, P40Pro+, or even Honor 30Pro+ unless Vivo does something special in computational photography, in spite of the limitation of SD865's ISP.
P40 Series finally finds its 'technological' echo, and X50 Series succeeds in bringing back some excitement to the rather stale state of smartphones.

oh man. I would have been all over this phone but they totally disrespected the ultrawide. I use it for most of my pics now when I travel coz it captures a lot more. Very disappointed. I guess It's either that rumored nokia with a 108 MP ultrawide or the oppo with the 48 MP for me.

Vivo X50 series and its upcoming NEX series make Oppo and OnePlus look so inconsequential. Don't know what Oppo and OnePlus will do in the 2nd half of the year.

Forgot to mention displays are 90Hz with 180Hz touch response too.
Using the X30 and I have to say Vivo's software is top notch (Chinese version).
The Pro + looks like the cream of the crop for phones atm - Top performance, display and cameras all for $700!
Tough for those who shelved $1000+ on an S20 Ultra or OnePlus 8 Pro.
