Gsmarena, how long does it take to take a low light photo in the default mode? Do they combine multiple exposures? Is the image quality worse if one doesn't want to wait?

P40 Pro Kirin 990 perform better than Oneplus 7t Pro SD855+ in Antutu 8 in the review (eventhough just a bit). The overall results by Antutu are based from various of people submitted with unknown situation tested (maybe in the fridge lol). What this site reviewed performance are equally, and it shows it is perform between SD865 and 855+.
Heck doesnt it even matter? U cannot differentiate it in real life usage anyway.

Antutu didn't rank phones in that chart, they ranked SOC.
Exynos 990 is the chip which can be considered between SD865 & SD855+, Kirin 990 5g is simply not on par.

Someone should try to take a photo of the Andromeda Galaxy (there must be no light pollution). Google showed a sample image of the Pixel 4. It was able to take a very, very bad photo of the Andromeda Galaxy by combining fifteen 16s exposures of the main camera on a tripod.
It would be interesting if the P40 Pro+ periscope camera could achieve a slightly better result.

Exactly. You hit the nail on the head. I have the P9 Plus and that hasn't lagged either. The RAM is always high too. It's blazingly fast. Huawei premium flagships smartphones are speed beasts and they stay fast no matter how many months/years you have been using them. As some like to say when it comes on to Huawei...born fast, stay fast.

Google is not free, you definitely don't want to give them all you date to sell you to the third party.
Google's apps are nothing special except you want to delegate full control over your life, same applies for Facebook.
I remove this shit straight out of the box, same applies for Huawei, Samsung and any other manufacturer's shit.
Use F-Droid, for YouTube Vanced, to mimicking G frame micro g,
for games and things like this, take a full featured fake G play -Aurora.
Make you independent from the moronic US politicians.
I would never use Google even if they'd pay me.

I have been using Huawei Mate 20 pro for 1.5 years now and that old Kirin 980 has not lagged even for once! Actually still to date no app is there in app store to make it lag! The optimization of in housed developed SOC can't be judged by a mere benchmark result! Its much much more than that

Chinese brands always getting caught c... moreReal life performance or being caught or not, hardware built on it can just base on logic. As i stand, Kirin 990 cpu performance are in between SD865 & SD855+.
Benchmark specsheet aside, heck i couldnt even find any single apps/games that could make my Kirin 980 device lag, on real life usage.

Antutu scores are both CPU+GPU performance, where Kirin & Exynos fall short because of Mali-GPU. But even on it, sometimes Kirin 990 does better than SD855+
