if I can afford to have two phones at the same time, it will be the SGS3 and this.. SGS3 for its versatility (can be connected to many devices thru USB) and this beauty for its amazing design and camera and solid OS (it may not be as feature/app-rich as Android, but it has got all the basics, and more, perfect)..
i always believe that in terms of connectivity solidness, Nokia is second to none..
by having SGS3 and 808, i will have the best of both worlds, versatility and solidness..
If only nokia could stick to improving their Symbian, i think they will make more money than with Windows..

2016 is a LOT longer than one year. The Lumia 800 has got one year because in 2013 WP8 comes around. But this phone doesn't run that crap.

Unless you have a specific need that only nokia devices can comply with... like full 2-way call recording. A feature that even old Nokia and SE featurephones could accomplish yet NONE of these suposedly superphones with HD screens, quad core cpus equiped plastic toys. Except the... yeps you guessed it, 808 Pureview.

It's not about taking pictures all the time but more about having the right camera WHEN you NEED it! This is a problem with many phones. They just suck when you need to take THAT ONE pic.

It seem Nokia have made a great hardware with Pureview 808.
Revolusioner in Camera
Decent in others hardware spec
but the OS not too good.
The only question for me is, will the Pureview 808 fate be the same as N9.
Huge sensor with Win 7.5 or 8 as OS is very tempting for me. :)

I pity all idiots who took this Pureview only at it's hardware specs, excluding the camera. They didn't even bother to read the tech behind the huge 41MP sensor! And they thought that pityful SGS3 is way better just because it has a 720p screen and a purposeless quad-core processor. too many things to explain about the sensor and techs behind it! just google and read 'em. don't spam this site with stupid comments and all. So freakin' annoying -_-

(Like the one used in Panasonic GH2 camera) So depending on what ratio you pick, the portion of the sensor you use will be different. Just google "808 pureview sensor" and see the image section for the pic of the sensor.
