If you have general knowledge or were aware of the market still most of the Laptops and things are released with 4GB Ram. Plus there are lots of old generation computers which don't even support more than 8GB Ram. Most people don't have Technical knowledge they just use it as it is. Which means there are millions of devices which runs on 4GB , 8GB Ram. Even 8GB isnt enough when it comes to Chrome. lol

Hope this doesn't mean that Netflix on Edge on Windows 10 will start to suck, like it does in Chrome.

I've used Edge on the school's computer(Windows 7, 2GB RAM, utterly useless), and I can confirm one thing for ya, it's doesn't consume a lot of RAMs like you said the based Chromium browser that you used. Oh, it's less consuming than the base Firefox browser that's pre-installed and fully updated on the 2GB RAM computer. Microsoft has optimize Chromium immensely better than Google themselves for Windows in general.

My Toshiba laptop which is ten years old came with Windows 7 preinstalled. Currently using Windows 8.1 and it is really lightweight and fast. I've tried Windows 10 as well it was a bit slow. And it consumes more Ram. My laptop had 4GB Ram. Trust me guys 4GB Ram isn't enough for Windows 10. Don't look at system requirements which say 2GB Ram is enough because it isn't. I've upgraded to 8GB Ram which is maximum for my motherboard. And now I'm waiting for Microsoft to fix Windows 10 issues in version 2004 to install it. Will try this Edge as well. So if you want to install Windows 10 and you use Chrome as well 8GB Ram will help you to enjoy smoother performance. Ram is cheap buy it and you will feel the difference. Want more? Buy SSD as well. But if your laptop is really weak don't spend money on it and buy new and powerful one.

Sync is not missing, just that you have to use Edge on your other devices too (might be a bummer on Android, but I'm guessing they will invest some effort to improve it in the future).

Much better than Chrome, uses less RAM, has better control over privacy and optimised better for windows 10!

as long as they use the same engine as Chromium, the 'new' Edge was nothing to be proud at.
If only they keep developing the 'old' Edge engine, instead of making another 'copy' of Chromium.
