Yes, I hv updated my xperia mini pro. I stay in Mumbai, india. the much awaited update did not bring a smile on my face except few features. The messaging feature when a call arrives is very handy, face unlock does not work properly. the same old icons. only few cosmetic chngs hv been made. I had to download "Go Launcher" which is fantastic and gives a new feel to the phone.

still no proper update for my xperia arc(SI NUMBER 1247-0400). before releasing to xperia Arc why they are releasing it for mini?

Living in Dubai and have checked for updates via the phone as well as the PC companion but there does not seem to be any yet. I think the update is still not worldwide!

i already ICS update ra for Live With Walkman alread. I live in India, and xperia neo v, xperia arc s, xperia ray already recieved updates a 2 weeks back.

Updated via SUS, the update is working like a charm, a couple of new additions, a couple of removals, which I'm sure nobody shall miss. I can however say, that if you don't have a gazzillion apps running at the same time, the performance is comparable to Gingerbread, while a marginal increase in battery performance. Overall, worth the wait.
Although I can't really feel the browser speed to be any different, and I still need to figure out how to switch tabs in it.

I've seen that on my X8, were it's on version 2.0.1 and there is already the 2.1.1 and it won't update.

Android 4.0 is really amazing,,,the cool new look make my devise super cool. . .but some application like "Axis Mobile" which i had prev used in Android 2.3 is not compatible with Android 4.0. . .

No, just like X8. Exept if you put Cyanogen mod on it, but the CM9 (Android 4.0) for it is still too unstable, CM 7 with android 2.3.7 is far more stable.
(at least on X8, don't know about W8, but they are almost the same ting)

Pros:
- Browser is faster.
- Camera & Video processing has improved
- Battery life improved (marginally)
- UI smoother than Gingerbread
- Inbuilt WiFi Data Monitor works perfect
Cons:
- Contacts/Phone screen lags big time
- LED Notifications do not come up for a SMS/Missed call
