Here too !, Green tints and horizontal lines. Those are disappear when brightness is set it to maximum.
Never buy Samsung again

Samsung has cheated by releasing faulty software. when it was communicated with the customer service team, they suggested visiting the service center. when they know the green display issue why they suggesting to visit the service center I have no idea. No one has any idea of whether the Samsung team will resolve this issue or not. such a reputed company released faulty software and sitting. we customers paid big amount and not able to use the phone. sometimes customer care team suggest waiting till the next update, does this make sense from such reputed company

I too have screen discolouration issue with my Samsung Galaxy Note 9 (purchased in Mar'19), after possible version update in last couple of months.
Initially it started off as a minor irritation - once a fortnight or so some minor discolouration, but now it has gone TOTALLY BAD :-( Even after a usage of 2-3 min, the screen goes totally dull, with greenish/blackish horizontal lines and I can't even read what's on the screen.
To think that this is caused due to a software update is horrible, Samsung - what sort of testing do you guys do before releasing major updates to market !? Very disappointed.
Based on some online suggestions I tried an app called OLED Saver, but this app is able to give say around 50% satisfaction only! My beautiful phone that once was a cynosure to eyes has now become a LEMON :-(
I am holding from visiting service centre due to the pandemic situation & all, if anyone have a solution please pass it on , TIA !

I am facing display discoloration issue since last 3 days. I am not sure if this is because of the last security patch update. I didn't have any physical accident with my device. When the brightness is varied and kept in middle, the screen becomes greenish/yellowish with horizontal lines. So, in the dark I have to keep the brightness real low and in light, I have to keep the brightness at extreme high. This is so annoying. My phone is Samsung Galaxy Note 9 (just one and half year old).

Same here. I got the green screen problem recently. I got same screen issue on samsung J7. I really admire the note 20 ultra, and planning to buy it. But two phone from samsung got the same screen problem? I'll just pass on any samsung phone. Next time will buy from another phone company.

after updating the software to UI 2.1 in US, my Samsung note 9 has started to turn in to green screen with horizontal lines and then it is stop functioning

IPhone has also sent an update for the 6s.
To compete in this market, It could better that samsung offer a three-year update for the S series and Note series phones.
we want Android 11 for s9 and note9.

Hi, the latest update has been rolled out in India, checked in phone settings via software update. Has anyone installed it? Also, should the adaptive brightness be on or off before the installation in order to get rid of the discoloration issue??
