It's pretty hideous tbh... I'm neither Sony or Xbox fanboys but purely design-wise I'd much rather have the XSX in my room than this.

Tann Hauser, 12 Jun 2020Looks superb. Gaming will be superb as seen by UE5 demo. ... moreSuperb gaming, huh? So the console will actually run games faster than just 60 FPS in the best possible scenario? Superb gaming and less than 100 FPS just doesn't compute. It requires high FPS.

Even if the console is looking cool and like from a startrek series or from outer space i would never ever swap it for a much more versatile PC.
With PC i can play same games like hre and via many site i can have many games free or at low costs.
Bought witcher III with all add-ons on gog.com for 9,99 euros just a nice example.

imparanoic, 12 Jun 2020considering that there is ps5 cam and that strangely enough... moreI believe so, yes.
PS VR is already designwise compliment to this console. I see no techical reason for existant PS VR to not work with PS5 also.
And VR games will look even better on this.
Might buy PS5 even sooner for that reason.

considering that there is ps5 cam and that strangely enough regular usb ports (not type c) on the ps5, does that mean backwards compatible with current ps vr and other ps4 accessories?

Looks superb. Gaming will be superb as seen by UE5 demo.
Cant wait to see what PS5 VR will offer too.
I will be getting this in 3-4 years, as I m quite content with my PS4 and VR for now.
Once you go VR, its an absolute game changer, and there is no proper reason to go the nonVR console way anymore...
Overall, Sony doing great next level stuff this year, be it gaming or mobile.

Anonymous, 12 Jun 2020There's no doubt about it, the Xbox V (Series X) is cheaper... moredigital foundry has analysed xbox series x and as it's even more powerful than ps5, it will be more expensive, but they theorised that there is a lower powered xbox series s which is for 1080p tv and possible half the price of xbox series x and same price as xbox one x (probably reduces in price), there is no series v either, like previous gen
xbox one s -> xbox one x

Certainly looks much better than Microsoft's x fridge.
It will outsell Xbox again.
Sony is dominating like a boss. Did you know that ps4 outsold Xbox one by far?
There is absolutely no competition.

I think I'd go for standard version with the optical drive. Call me old school if you like, but I much prefer to have physical CD with me all the time instead of downloading the game online with the need for a constant internet connection, which is unlikely around my area.
