Is it just me are all these newly annouced ideas everything other platforms had before "answer call with message, video call over mobile network) hardly revolutionary for the fact other os have had these features for years. but if any idea u have close relates to anything apple consider I. patent infringement, I never thought I would miss Steve so soon.

harlekkin, 12 Jun 2012I don't disagree with you. But iPhone isn't about being on ... moreTheres Windows Phone for that. Smooth UI, seamless integration of social networks. Works just the way a smartphone should.

I dont want Facebook integration, or any social network product on my iPhone. Anything that provides a third party any ability to glean what I do and what type of person I am is a security threat to privacy and may be used against me in the future. You might think so what, but several easy sources of information about yourself means you become just a marketing number, and anyone can have access to you. If you are concerned with your personal security, and that of your family, then avoid the major OS's, such as Apple, Windows, and most certainly Android, the number one in spyware. Go back to a simple mobile and not a so called smartphone.

I feel like a fool for buying an iPad(1 gen, but not because of lack of updates). What I needed was an ebook reader that could read PDFs well. Until Sony PRS T1, nothing could handle stuff that's been scanned and could not be re-flowed.
And iOS is really not as fast or as stable as the fanboys would have you think. The damn thing crashed so many times, I don't care to count anymore. And iTunes... what is up with that?! At least Nokia or Sony (Ericsson) let you use whatever media management software you wanted over MTP or MSC modes of connectivity via USB.
As soon as I sell my iPad, I will never again buy apple products.

Wow, i only have video calls on my N96 over the cellular network 5 years ago. Well done apple, very revolutionary.
Sure the design is nice, and the apps are very safe and controlled, but I just dont get why people spend the stupid amount of money on iphones when it lacks many features of much cheaper phones.
I have a SG Note, and i bloody love it. And this is a device that was well worth its money.

Okay one issue here, is it not Apple that constantly brings out patents AGAINST every other phone company for 'copying' Apple's products? I do believe android on the Samsung Galaxy S2 had the reject with message before Apple did! Same with the integration in the phonebook with Facebook!
Apple you are a bunch of hypocrits and need to learn not to criticise everyone for copying your phones when you do the exact same thing!

ASMG, 12 Jun 2012All apple fans has no reason to love thier device,
they on... moreThat's like saying everyone who drives a Mercedes hates the car but loves the name... such rubbish.
So people owning a Galaxy must hate Samsung then, because they love their device? Or do they perhaps love Samsung, and the phone because it's of great value to them?
People love Apple because of their products and the great personalized service you get when you buy from them.

Spiff, 11 Jun 2012Android 4.0.x still owns. I like a few features of the new ... moreI don't disagree with you. But iPhone isn't about being on tech steroids and boasting the biggest specs. 90% of users in the real world find that irrelevant. They want ease of use and features that make sense on a day to day basis. Apple meets those needs perfectly. Their needs, not yours necessarily.
