I like the feature about incoming call where u can choose call " when I leave", it automatically reminds you once you move to a new location to get back to the caller. Good when in a meeting. One map that has everything, turn by turn navigation, business establishment details, reviews and ratings. Also, the do not disturb option where phone will only ring when VIPed number calls or a consistent call every 3 mins which could be an emergency.no need for wifi for facetime now and apple id and phone number integration. Which means u dont have to get up find ur phone if its not with you while u are on ur computer desk and somebody calls facetime. Accept it through any of your idevice same with imessage and same with browsing and history all shared on ur safari through the newly added icloud option, which enables you to retrieve the web adress on your mac or ipad without opening your phone. I can't wait!
Now, that's taking it to another level. ;)

Nothing new. Old stuff that even my very old HTC was doing. So what is so hot with the new map! Map is map whether is Google, Garmin or Apple. I am owner of iPhone2G, iPhone3G, iPhone 3GS, iPhone4 & iPhone4S ,and iPad1, 2 & 3. I am very disappointed. Android and Samsung S3 is the future. Apple you are not listening to your customer. See what is happening to Nokia. Over confidence will take no where!

Now you can't brag about Apple as they finally learned that they can't compete on their own.. so signed with TomTom to provide Navigation support... copied the idea of Android to integrate facebook... any many more.. so stop criticising Samsung and Android.. and enjoy your iOS 6
Also remember that it is competitive world and when someone comes up with an innovation others want to use it maybe with more precision and that's what we can say improved idea.. Innovation, new ideas will come but it doesn't come with a life long propriety.
The only thing I am not comfortable is dedicated Siri interface in car.. There are many Android users, some RIM and some Windows.. let people decide what they want rather than forcing them..
BTW I have Samsung S II and I love it.. :)

. Yes i9000 galaxy s only get the feature pack for gingerbread Officially an that's it nothing more nothing less. And yes the custom rom for galaxy s plus or i9003 is exist but not really much , i mean as much as i9000 . But that's not the point here. The point is , the EOM's support isn't the only one you can hang on your community. That's the advantage of open sourcing an os which you can't simply get with apple products even with gingerbread and feature pack galaxy s still have more to offer than ios6

Screwing the consumers ,,, and if U want to talk about top selling device U got i9000 according to news back in 2011 this phone is one of the top selling Android devices and the owners got screwed,,, what strategy U talking about a phone with Single core 1GHz 512 RAM and internal memory of 8GB/16GB cant get ICS and LG just released Optimus L7 with the same Specifications operated by ICS with only 4GB internal memory!!! U right they have strategy is call screwing people… and having 1 phone per a year at least Im sure that I will receive update for many years and therefore it’s the top selling device

Consumers has right having proper update is the least of their rights, Custom ROM can be use by Geeks who like to play around and customize as they like,,, also some people refuse the idea of unofficial solutions even rooting and i have friends using i9000 and wont even update using ODN even if the ROM is official but the update method is not and what about other models such as Galaxy i9003??? No official update and no custom ROMs so what the owners supposed to do?

Apple has got to be kidding. In short you still have to live with the same old monotonous grid with no widgets nothing this is hardly an upgrade it should have been IOS 5.8 or somethins.

OEM discontinues a particular model based on its own business strategy, matter of fact, no company ceases supplying a top selling device,do they? I guess some companys should learn to market/manufacuter more than one Phone per year, atleast 3-4 and then HANDLE the updates for various devices with various o/s versions with various h/w configurations.

Its like Corolla and Camry are racing and declaring that toyota won the race.

Now apple have their own map which they can do everything what they want, without google slowing them down. Its very good decision for apple and also huge drawback for google, well i think they got what they deserve.
