this is the fault on both Niantic and smartphone manufacturer
you cant just drop a support on the phone that is still widely used globally
but smartphone manufacturer need to stop using 32-bit and proceed to make all phone with 64-bit

I think we need more transparency & regulations to stop fraud marketing.
Benchmark cheating,Marketing of smartphone cameras with DSLR photos,GPU Turbo,Quad/penta cameras with Depth,Macro lenses,Fake liquid cooling,Using superior parts for initial batches to get positive reviews but later swiching for inferior parts in later batches to maximize profit,Apps monitoring usage data & violating privacy.
Smartphone industry seriously need regulations to stop ill marketing & increase transparency.

They must continue support for 32-bit OS ROM instruction set indefinitely. 32-bit and 64-bit ROM instruction sets are found on many of today's Android phones, and thus, cannot be dropped for this, and all other reasons for doing so. They have far more than enough resources to keep supporting and developing 32-bit ROM instruction set. Even my Galaxy J7 Star uses the 32-bit ROM instruction set on a 64-bit Exynos Processor, as tested on the AIDA64 application. Google must also maintain support for any and all 32-bit instruction set(s) for Android OSes, as well as device manufacturers. Again, please continue support for the 32-bit instruction set.

I think the big issue is that there are still phones being released that ship with a 32-bit OS on 64-bit hardware. Despite the examples Niantic gave on their list, recent phones like the Motorola Moto G7 Play and the Samsung Galaxy A10(e), all released in 2019 come with a 32-bit OS and will therefore not be able to play the game despite having capable enough hardware.
I think a lot of the blame should be put on manufacturers in this instance though. Personally I would have assumed that if a device has 64-bit capable hardware, the OS shipped with it would be 64-bit. Manufacturers need to be more transparent if this is not the case.
