apprise, 16 Jun 2020Better phone without updates ? Okay buddy, would u buy a bu... morejust cause a phone dont have China brand on them, dont mean that the phone isnt made in china. And if you dont buy this phone or dont care about it, then why you care about will it get updates or not ? This makes no sense to me. Why is the updates so important. Not a single person ever explain it to the length it actually makes sense. Android update dont give you anything. Only thing android update can do is make you phone slower as it wasnt optimized for the device or just cause other problems. Security updates is a different thing but even with out them the phones dont become useless bricks. There is very low percent of peope on this planet who buy phones just only for the updates and care about updates. It's nice to have updates but it's not a matter of life with these phones.

s4f786, 16 Jun 2020The problem with phones like this well brands moreso is the... moreSeems like that when you phone dont get security updates or android updates it's a brick from the box. There are loads of people who dont need updates or security updates. There are people out there that just need a device that can stand some extreme conditions. Rugged phones are mostly made for the people who work at construction sites or just in extreme conditions. These people dont usually have state secrets that need latest android on there device and latest security patches.

CompactPhones5ever, 16 Jun 2020>Doogee S88 Pro offers a 6.3” (...) display Ah... moreExactly. And out in the field what are you going to do with such massive phones that will form an uncomfortable bulge in your pocket, restrict movement and can't be operable with one hand? Might as well have a Panasonic Toughpad which has a big enough screen to work on. Phones now are too big to be phones, and these big phones have screens too small to do any serious work on.

Ah... moreAnd I assume you can put a 10.000 mAh battery in a 4.7 inch phone.
If you want compact phone, buy yourself an iPhone SE (2020) and stop complaining.

P70 have same power like sd 665. Paired with 6gb ram can give good experience, considering that this is ruged phone. 10.000 mah battery with ip69 is great offer.

Umidigi is not big company but have one if the best quality phones. Even their cables and chargers are very quality. On the other hand, dooge is famous for ruged phones.
