JDK, 17 Jun 2020they invented first intuitive software for a smartphone, of... moreInvented intuitive software? Back in the day all the other smart phones weren't smooth??

For one thing. No phones were considered more perfectly smooth... including iPhone... until a few years back. Back at that point? All phones were slower and had glitches. And iphone was absolutely no exception.
However, the iPhone couldn't even do things at that point that basic flip phones could.
Like send/receive mms "multimedia messages aka pictures and etc", record videos, play flash games, have a camera flash, file browsers.
Or even copy and paste lmfao.
Again. Most basic phones could do at least some of that.

Not even to mention much more advanced smart phones existed then. With all kinds of superior aspects in software and hardware.
Like the symbian devices you got from Nokia, let alone samsung and Sony.
They blew the iPhone and ios out of the water then.
And it was really fast and smooth for the time and compared to ios. While being dramatically more feature rich and functional. The iPhone was just a tad bit more intuitive. But not to the level of inventing or perfecting "intuitive" software.
Couldn't even send mms or record video. With their flashless 2mp camera and their crappy lcd then.
That was when the Samsung omnia hd came out with its 8mp and flash, the first device capable of recording or playing 720p, a gorgeous amoled that trashed everything else on the market, stereo speakers that were about the best on the market, and running the extremely versatile and amazing symbian platform at the time.
Apple was always behind the curve.

QQ, 19 Jun 2020Do you live in a cave? Only iPhone 6 models bent and it was... moreThe point of bendgate being brought up was in response to the claims of apples supposedly immense quality. When it's just one of the many examples proving otherwise.

            GSMARENA ARTICLES
All of this below was covered here on gsmarena let alone many other places I'm sure.

It was the 6, 6 plus, and reportedly some 6s too.
And bendgate also lead to touch disease.
Because they took out a metal shield that covered that sensitive display area of motherboard. Replaced it with a plastic film.
Ontop of releasing a frame with that weak point that they "didn't know about".
So it bent there and then also ruined the display in various ways.
Apple denied the issue. Users must have dropped their phones.
So not even covered under manufacturer defect.
While they also silently fixed the issue in their lineup.

            Still under gsmarena articles.

Then around 4 years later it was finally an issue that existed, but must have been caused by users dropping their phone.
But out of the kindness of their hearts they would repair them for half of now. Which was still about 200 at half off I think.
And if you had to have the repair done yourself in the past and magically kept a receipt from 1 to 4 years ago to prove it then you could be reimbursed the other half of the cost......

            Still on gsmarena...

About a couple years later shows up that they clearly knew about a weak point in the frame. And I think we can all safely say they knew about the difference of a metal shield and a plastic film when they willfully made the change... and when they saw what was happening and reverted back in their production......

What bendgate really shows is that Apple knew it was a large design flaw but didn't care. And then when it went south being a very large issue for many many users they knew that they didn't have to take the cost or blame. They could literally just say f u, put the users at expense, blame them for it, charge them for it, and profit from their own massive incompetence at everyone's expense.
Because people would still defend them to the death over it.

And even after the articles about them knowing all along came within the last couple years... people still defend them to the death about it. Talking about their superior quality.... Not upset apple fans or ones that were let down by such despicable things. Not anything about lawsuits... just being defended, not cared about, and swept under the rug.
It's quite sad. And not just for phones. That this is how foolish and easily swayed into horrible things the human race is.

And it's just one example out of numerous of their terrible lies and greed.

They waited years down the road until samsung perfected them more. Especially while also reaching certain brightness levels for all white. And then release.. order one "supposedly their design" that's splitting hairs with the Samsung ones.
And then claimed "oh we needed to wait until oled met our standards of quality"....
Is that why samsungs amoled displays were consistently winning in most areas of display over the iphones lcd ones until then??? And why apple eventually switched??

              Yeah they sure "designed them".......

                      MEGALOL....

If they are capable of that, they'd build their own display manufacturing plant a LONG TIME AGO, instead of keep using GENERIC LCD display for years before changing to AMOLED.

In display business, ALL u could do are give the manufacturers the specs u wanted for the display (e.g covering 99% DCI-P3, 100% RGB, 120Hz refresh rate, etc) AND the blueprint of 'physical design' of the display (how many mm the 'notch' needed, how many 'hole(s)' do u want to have in the display, etc).
Note that the 'physical design' that I mentioned are fundamentally have different meaning from ur 'Apple designs the screen' BS.

Android people are more hating than apple people. Generally true as well. Have you ever heard Wily2020 mocking android whenever an android article comes up? On the other hand, take a look at what somebody like AndroidMaster posts in apple comment sections. "So glad to be part of this superior OS", "PrisonOS/Ultra handicapped OS", etc. Sometimes, there will be more defensive people, though.

The ONLY reason why iphone was such a hype in 2007 was because Jobs introduced it as the world's first capacitive touchscreen phone which can be operated with finger & only need light touch (compared to resistive touchscreen-powered smartphone back then, which need stylus & need hard press when using fingers).

                                      That's it.

LilPhone, 17 Jun 2020The only bottlenecks on an iPhone are pathetically slow cha... moreSee what happens with SD810/808?

The 'only' bottleneck it have IS easily overheat due to no effective cooling solution back in 2015.
Compared to today's SD865, it is also one hell of 'burning' SoC, that it won't even work properly if the manufacturer don't add graphite layers or 'liquid cooling' solution on top of it.

The MOST fatal 'bottleneck' is actually what Apple have right now.
                                        1. Slow charging with tiny battery capacity means INSTANT KILL in MANY SCENARIO use (when u'r in out of range place, with no AC connector, and u'r too lazy / forget to bring 'brick-size' powerbank to charge ur pathetic phone)

                                        2. Easily heating SoC will result in overheat; in short-term, it'll only throttle the device, BUT in long-term, it'll affect ALL components in SoC, as well as battery cycle & capacity.

I think no 'tech-literate' people don't realize this fatal drawback; unless they are fanboys & fanatics who ALWAYS put benchmark numbers & slow-charging benefit to bash others who criticize their beloved brand.
