The Samsung Galaxy Note20+ will have a 19.3:9 screen, online test shows

18 June 2020
That will make the screen slightly taller than that of the Note10+, but the aspect ratio isn't quite as tall as that of the S20 phones.

16.9 please
Omg love the boxy sharp edges rectangular design.
Much better than ugly curved S20 design.

I think they don't realize how well a bezelless device with an aspect ratio of 16:9 would do.

Not for me, I'll take 16:9 or even 18:9 over any of those inconsistent screen ratios all day long. I'm not ready to jump into the 21:9 bandwagon as TV series are still being recorded in 16:9. Only cinema movies can take advantage of that anamorphic 21:9 ratio.

I remembered trying out the Nokia 7 plus in person and it looks rather alright. I definitely don't mind those bezels or chins. Same thing with Google Pixel 3.

Hi GSMARENA! I do not believe, that the Galaxy Fold 2 from Samsung will be released with an S-Pen. It is not to be expected, that Samsung will significantly change the UTG display being covered with a kind of plastic layer as basis protection (to avoid the UTG to crack). But a S-Pen together with a plastic layer will never be a winning team, since scratches in the plastic layer will be unavoidable. So a comparison with the Note Line-up will not make sense as long as pen functionalities are in focus of consideration.

I have the Note 9, feels too small (6.4) compared to my previous Honor Note 8 which had a glorious 6.6 inch 16:9 Amoled QHD display, wont be buying the Note 20, to tall.

Glad that people on here are realizing how ridiculous the new tall aspect ratios are, 18:9 is more than enough.

I'm guessing most manufacturers will end up using 21:9 in the future.

The Note series from Samsung has always been for me the top of the top from Samsung and I very much appreciated the note 10+ except the back of the smartphone which color I like is Glow but the fingerprints it is hell, I never had a smartphone that marked fingerprints so much, it's very dirty, I hope Samsung and manufacturers in general will adopt backs with matt glass, it has become very important for me and it became a criterion during my future purchase

I wish there would be a Note20 with the same specs.
Apple is doing it right ever since. Top specs for the standard size model and for the "too large"-model

I think it's worth noting that the actual screen size of the Note 10+ is 6.75", which was marketed as 6.8" (This is according to leaks of the Note 10+ before it was released. The Note 10 non-plus model was 6.28", marketed as 6.3") So there will be a 0.12" difference between the Note 10+ and 20+, rather than 0.07", which is small but not insignificant

5.92" as a 16:9 screen, I don't really get the purpose of these super narrow screens

It going to be narrow like sausage

Its fail already make wide phone at least like note 10plus

Still waiting for any company to start marketing selfie cameras as premium features so we can get full-screen budget phones. If Apple did this then it would be certain other companies would follow, and Samsung is already marketing the headphone jack as a low-end feature, so I'm hopeful.

Samsung realised that 20:9 AR would make the Note20 too tall when the S20+ (6.7") is marginally shorter than the Note10+ (6.8"). It would've been nice if they sticked with the same screen size as the Note10+ but they needed to make it look different from its predecessor. I prefer shorter aspect ratios so 19.3:9 > 20:9.

Anything over 2:1 is just too much imo
