No one else even come close, and no I'm not an Apple fanboy, I'm an Android dude, I never owned an Apple product in my entire life.

This is ver... moreApple isn't a tech company, they are assembler of components.
They just buy components from other companies, put them together at high prices.
Also, they buy companies when they need something working.

It's really weird that X50 Pro has this cutting edge stabilisation system while the Plus version of it comes with a larger sensor but only features a regular OIS. It doesn't make much sense to me from marketing strategy standpoint.
Nonetheless, I support this kind of hardware innovation. Hopefully other manufacturers will take this idea from Vivo and use it on their phones as well.

Jojo, 19 Jun 2020No one give a crap about your pictures. Not even the people... moreFor some of us, phones have replaced DSLr and P&S cameras. So, yes, I have all my photos on both iCloud and Google Photos, and I look at them on my 85" TV quite often.
Perhaps if you got your nose out of social media and explored the world, you might find your own photos more interesting.

IMO, Vivo fail their own products by omitting microSD slot from this X50 series.
Hope they bring their camera technologies to the global V series complete with a mSD slot. Lack of display's tumor would be a big welcome bonus.

No one give a crap about your pictures. Not even the people that take them. When was last time you even looked at more than 10 of your own pictures, of the thousands you probably have on there.

I know that most people would prefer the X50 Pro+ because of the chipset and that Samsung GN1 camera sensor, but this gimbal OIS is the reason why I choose the X50 Pro. It's a world's first.

This is very innovative, i wish more tech companies will come up with new stuff like this instead of multiple cameras and megapixel wars.

They are merely playing catchup.
Catching up in UI features, fast charging, better design and aesthetics, etc.

I've got it already, coming up with a review soon. Photos come up good, but it's nothing groundbreaking, just good quality photos with very true to life colors.
As for the video stabilization, I tried shooting a video while slowly running and the gimbal doesn't seem to keep up, it generally is fairly stable but seems to kind of react too slowly to the movement and the video ends up looking kind of weird. They do release software updates though, I've already had 2 small updates with camera optimizations in the couple of days I've had it.
