LG V35 shows you can get it all in one phone. I chose it in opposition to the design choices Samsung was making at the time. Flagship CPU (2018 release): Snapdragon 845 with LTE-A. No notch or camera punch-out, no curved edge screen like the S8, S9, S10, and Velvet. It's super thin like the Velvet and nearly curved, but with a flat screen. That way you can apply a tempered glass screen protector and also have an easier to replace screen as well. The screen is not oversized. Mine recently got Android 10 in the US.

I'm looking forward for the V60, looks like a real beast, good display, battery, cameras and of course audio. I just hope LG doesn't give up on QuadDac on all of their next phones.

I had and loved the v20 as well, and recently upgraded to the v60 and can't recommend it enough. It is an upgrade in every measurable way. The display looks even better as well, even though it is only 1080 and not 1440. I don't know how they did it, but it looks amazing and is an absolute beast of a phone. The audio is a major, major improvement as well.

Side mounted fingerprint would've been better.

This is a company that has tried to give us something different, yes, we dont get all the features that we want but people always look for things that arent there.

And yeah, it is so shiny!

I'm 100% sure someone voting with his/her wallet will be able to do something against the crowd that just buys whatever shiny gets thrown in their faces.

I agree this is a bit overpriced beautiful phone.

But people commenting why no DAC, why no back fingerprint, why that ugly dual screen gap - you should all get over yourselves. There are complains about those things for years and did anyone from these tech companies listen? If you dont like a missing feature then just dont buy it. Oh I forgot, people will always complain about everything anyway.

[deleted post]you must be dreaming ... in a very wide general terms,
the fast ones are 1 year
the normal ones are 2-3 years
the efficient ones are 3+ years
the budget ones are 4+ years or less but always stay in budget-mid zone/level

6 months is too short even in the budget range unless you are talking about those in the entry level range.

[deleted post]Sorry, but you are living in a bubble. Most people, at least over here, keep their phone 2 years minimum. I personally know people who run 5 year old phones and are not willing to switch any time soon.
