sa11oum, 22 Jun 2020Why does Samsung like to sink money in tablets and watches.... moreI have been using both ipad 11 pro and samsung tab s6 and samsung tab s6 wins in every way.
Most of the apps are now similar. The tablet is lighter. Build quality is at par for both. I just do not see the apple craze any more.

Lmao this is called "competitive market". Samsung made the best android smartwatches hands down haha, compared to android wear, Tizen for watches are more intuitive. The only downside of it is that it doesnt have first party Google Maps support. I use it for samsung pay mostly and me not having an apple product, any of the galaxy watches are a no brainer for me.

I have the Active 2 and I like the bezeless design. It resembles the bezeless design of iWatch.
These bezels makes it so 80's. I don't like it. It should be all glass. This is where the technology is heading. All glass and no bezels.
Tizen as a software does not impress me. The Active 2 it slow and laggy. The "hi Bixby" is super slow. I have to say Hi Bixby several times in order for her to appear. So slow......
The Apps in Tizen are so 80's. Bad quality all over and they're useless. I would ban all game-Apps in such a tiny screen, all calculator Apps (It has one, I don't need 400 calculators) and those endless facewatches which design is terrible. I would keep all Samsung's official apps which are good and ban anything else.
Don't be crazy about fit watches. They are bad at measuring stuff. All of them are bad, but I feel that Apple is heading the right direction. Fast software, no lag, sensors that work (mostly) and it's more reliable at measuring data. Unfortunately I don't have an i-phone, thus no i-watch.
The sensors of Active 2 disappoint me almost every time I use it. The heart rate monitor, once you start running is out of the place. After 6 minutes in, it displays that I am already 10 minutes running. That happens so often that I expect it to happen. That's a 4 minute difference. Come on guys, come on.
Come on Samsung, polish your product and don't give us crappy software. One year after the release of Active 2, if we still have to confront with the same problems, the you either didn't care much and try to milk us for some money or you don't know how to solve it.

sa11oum, 22 Jun 2020Why does Samsung like to sink money in tablets and watches.... moreI'm using Samsung smartwatch because of Samsung Pay. Here in Malaysia, Apple Pay is not supported at all. Same story with Fitbit Pay. The fact that I can use Samsung Pay on my Gear S3 connected to my LG V50 phone makes it a total no brainer for me.

I just hope that MST compatibility will be back in the new Galaxy Watch. Right now, I'm still holding to my Gear S3 because of MST since a lot of retail premises here in Malaysia are still relying on that old tech.

Why does Samsung like to sink money in tablets and watches. That market is Apple's, just give up. If you're on Android, just buy a FitBit - iOS users, you know what to do.
