Adinatsu, 24 Jun 2020Rooting helps and can make a difference but now i dont thin... moreMaybe it fulfills your customization needs, not mine.
I am a power user.
Never used a non rooted phone as a daily driver.
Both my S10/ROG 2 are rooted.

I take privacy very seriously.
And the only way to install a proper firewall is through root.
The stock firewall on Android is no good just like stock firewall on Windows.

Besides you have alternated Galaxy flagships just like me.
Even current Galaxy series comes with bloatware that can be easily rid of through rooting.
Which phone are you using now?

JDK, 24 Jun 2020alrighty, here we go again. MARKET SHARE MEANS NOTHING. ... moreOnly 15% of iOS buyers actually buy it for the OS. They buy it for some weird status that only exists in their mind.
80% buy Android coz they don't want to be locked in the handicapped ecosystem of iOS.

It is literally you iOS fans who don't want to admit iOS flaws and keep on going on IOS topics like here and spit your fake facts. If you really want to do this, don't go on an unbiased site like GSMA and spit your stuff on Apple forums.

Even with oneui 2.1 you can better your experience by far. My rooted S10 with has so many great functions even oneui 6.8 won't have. Even with let's say GoodLock Modules there is a waaaaaay better Magisk or Xposed Modules that let you customize things way more.

Anonymous, 23 Jun 2020I like colorful adjectives to describe Apple's way and iOS.... morePfft! Truth? You mean the wildly inaccurate nonsensical bs analogies you call "colourful adjectives"? Hey you're the one who compared tech to fashion and prison, not me LOL.

You criticise Apple only and not iphone users but proceed to call them prisoners? Sureeee that's not belittling/criticising them at all. Wow so embarrassing~

Yup, I enjoy what Apple has done over the years. Unlike your severely sad, depressing myopic view on technology, to the point you need to describe it as a walled garden or prison, when anyone has the total freedom to switch sides as they like without judgement or even better, own both and enjoy the best of both worlds.

But hey, guess you're one of those who antagonise others for enjoying Apple and spread toxic negativity to the tech community, pitiful.

Literally nothing. 85% of the 80% "leading market share" of android is people who don't even care what OS they get, they just want a cheap phone. If every manufacturer used a different OS, they wouldn't care a bit. Only 15% of android buyers actually buy it for the OS.

We should all just quit using phones if we are worried about damage and being hacked, because it can happen to any of them. Unless your'e in China, no person in their right frame of mind would even consider a Huawei over an iPhone. Yes, this purely based on software support and app ecosystem.

This apple is really bushtit, I have my data in iPhone X and use its hotspot to my PC, with the recent update now, when I receive a call or login to facebook in my iPhone, that disconnects the hotspot and all my work in PC is lost due to connection loss. I tried all options to rectify but couldn't, this company is selling shit to people.

Now I am stuck with my physical SIM in 11 Pro Max stopped working(most likely after recent software update) while the same SIM works fine in my Honor 10 spare device!! Feel like Android is way way ahead on many things very importantly on performance. Many Apps taking time to launch and ready for use in iOS for whatever reason(I have XS Max & 11 Pro Max). The price you pay seems to be way too much for the logo!!
