Asus ROG Phone 3 confirmed to arrive in July

I am a very pleased owner of a red magic device. The Red Magic is one of the very few arch rivals to the RoG. Some say RoG is better... Some say Red Magic is better... One thing I do know... Is that gaming phones in general are phenomenal... And there popularity is growing... Everyday. I can prove this on our FB community Forums. With 1000's signing up each week to Black shark/RoG/Red Magic Community forums...
In fact I underestimated the popularity of gaming phones. And I didn't realise just how much better they are than a conventional flagship. Until I bought one myself... And now there is just one problem with gaming phones... They are very addictive. This is because they are immersive... That high frame rate... 90hz+... Super sensitive touch. Zero lag connection... ATX Stereo 32Bit... Wow... So immersive... Oh and those shoulder triggers... And that fan cooling the overclocked gpu cpu which should be in forced maximum mode... Wow... Seriously guys... You don't know what you are missing... Until you decide to buy a gaming phone. And play your favorite games.... Your scores and your performance rockets... I am not kidding you. I encourage you all to think about a gaming at least... Before you buy your next phone... I did... And it is the best phone I have ever bought... So much so... That now I want another gaming phone. Because I am soooo impressed with them.
Feel free to ask me for any advice... I will try to help you. Or refer you to our community. They may have the answers I don't.

I started playing COD mobile last November(still season 1) using an entry level phone only and I know some streamers using ROG and it was an advantage to them using this phone inside the game, one of the main disadvantage we have(mid range phone users) is the fps drop I guess which I believe not really happening to gaming phones like this. And btw what games do we need to play for us to be called "Gamers"?

Love the Community, 23 Jun 2020No one should ever use something like GameGuardian. Gamers ... moreSince when mobile games are that fair? Most of them are pay-to-win anyway, so the best bet is to use GG. Yeah I know several games with good game balance, so I do not hack the game.
I also don't know that many Esports grade games that would run 90fps or above. Even COD Mobile is stuck at 60fps.

As i am the owner of the original Asus ROG ,I would like to say that the line up of the ROG series is a step-up hardware wise but the software is somewhat lacking like you won't get the latest version of Android for about a year compared to the other competitors but it's a good line up non the less

Gaming phones are great for those who need the features / play a lot of games on smartphones.. truly makes a big difference with the front facing speakers, side usb, 120hz , airtriggers and whatnot. Even the software is good for gamers.
For everybody else, esp. if you do not play games, im sure there are other better devices - but what you do get, is an absolute monster of a phone.
Priorities are different , for different users.. and I for one is very happy this choice exists now.

But, yes to some extent your right. Its a proper gaming phone... And personally I switched from a conventional handset to a gaming smartphone.... Wow... Big difference... Very big difference. Even with my oneplus comparison... Gaming phones rule... They are way better than conventional handsets if you love gaming like me... Those air triggers give the player unrivaled capabilities... And so much more... The cooling... The algorithms... The screen tech... The response... The optimised forced cpu gpu over clocking... Every detail combined gives the player the unrivaled edge... Problem is... It can make gaming too easy... Especially when conventional handset users are struggling like crazy... And us gamers with gaming handsets just cruise... And win... Easy. Game over for you then... Game on for us gamers... Sorry but it's true.

With a gaming phone you lose in the camera segment . It is not much more superior than any other sd 865 phone . Maybe for a heavy mobile gamer or with a person with two phones it would be great but for a normal person i do not think it would be that great.
