Nokia's been going down since before Elop came. They've already said that second and third quarter were going to be rough. It take time to turn a big ship. Hopefully when WP8 is released they will get their stride back.

m a fan of nokia but wonder that why nokia still use old strategy for launching new device took long time at lease 3 till 7 months to release after announcement if still do like this the nokia company will go down soon without recove cos take long time release device seem let other device company can take over for new nokia device. Example.nokia lumia 900 and 808 pureview release in june 2012 but in the same galaxy s3 and another device....released in june too.Elop must reconsider this problem. I was upset if nokia going down.:(

Nokia picked Windows Phone because it's the best. Only people haven't used it, think it sux. Windows Phone has superior integrations and user experience. I had no problem moving from iPhone 4S and Galaxy S2 to Lumia 900.

The problem here is that they are still being stubborn with the windows phone OS. Its like they're hoping that it will suddenly become the lifesaver of the company. The majority of people have already chosen Either iOS or android and are likely to stay with their chosen OS. For me they could have done better off with focusing on MeeGo for their high end segment (its definitely a better hit than lumia, God knows why elop refuses to see this fact).

Nokia should continue with their core strength on basic 'None' smart phone. They need to crossover to android and partner with Samsung to develop Bada which is a much stable and muture OS.

I really don't understand Nokia. I believe companies take business decisions based on the market. Why don't Nokia take up Android as well. I am not saying give up every thing else and take Android. Take it as one of the OS for their devices.
Its good to have competition. But the company is dying. I am a huge fan of Nokia. It was the most trusted brand in India even above the native companies like Tata.
Mr. Elop don't kill Nokia

Samsung Fanboy Pro, 14 Jun 2012Cheers for that marry.normally when I make a comment all th... moreNokia owner at current last phone was a n8 and got an n9 about two months ago, love the phone don't get me wrong but.. The fact of the matter is if they gave customers the option of android they most likely wouldn't be where they are now, not to say they wouldn't have lost market share at all but it wouldn't have been as drastic. I do think WP will eventually be a good platform but its going to take time and if it does its never going to be be as open as android or have half the custom ROM's etc because its not Linux based so very few of the true phone geeks will move over

MdN, 15 Jun 2012You know what... first I had an Ericsson... Ericsson is gon... moreLOL... I know the feeling, as soon as I start to like a company they seem to go bankcrupt and the ones I dislike seem to just thrive :-(
If its any consolation I'll probably be getting Samsung next, mainly as they are the only ones left who still let you change the battery yourself on their high-end phones (for the moment...) now HTC and Sony have picked-up Apple's 'monobody' scam
Along with a few others, I think that Mr Elop should be given his marching orders as his deliberate and extraordinary policy of destroying the credibility of Nokia's current product line (I bet he demanded the stupid-high price on the 808 just to make sure its launch failed) is as much responsible for the company's current economic problems as anything else
Punish the management, not the workers!

Nokia lose market in Germany, Canada, Finland among others because their people prefer cheap phones from China, made by LG, Samsung, HTC, etc. The consequences? Factories closed, obviously.
