Microsoft knows the importance of a good user interface. Windows has run for many years on a gui that was basically stolen from the early Apple computers, designed by Steve Wozniak.
Similarly, when they were about to enter the mobile market, they looked around for a brilliant interface to steal. And Marko Ahtisaari’s tile interface on the Nokia N9 caught their eye.
Microsoft swung into action. They infiltrated Nokia, killed the wonderful Symbian operating system, and appropriated the brilliant tile interface for their ridiculous Windows mobile operating system.
Loyal Nokia users refused to buy it, and held out for a tile interface with their favourite Symbian OS. A Nokia team started to work on creating what their loyal users wanted - Meltemi, a combination of Symbian and the tile interface.
Worried that they would lose their stolen tile interface to its rightful owner, Microsoft swung into action again. They had the Meltemi team fired and placed more infiltrators on Nokia's marketing team.
As a final stab in the back to Nokia, they have used the brilliant Nokia tile interface on a tablet. A tablet created in secret by Microsoft themselves, not by Nokia.
It is time for Microsoft's infiltrators to be rooted out of the company in disgrace. It is time for Nokia to take Microsoft to court for stealing their intellectual property. And Nokia fans should demonstrate their support to the company by refusing to buy any Microsoft product sporting the stolen tile interface.

What's happen nokia? Why u let u'rself dictate by microsoft??
Where's the old nokia that i loved since 2000? u must build new things just like u did in the past.. if i may say, i buy u'r product not base on money, but base with love.. i can buy latest apple, latest blackberry, latest great android phone, but i choose this nokia e5 unit cause it fit with my needs, and to be honest, symbian satisfied me all these years, since 3650 era. we, the symbian user, meego user fall in love with u, can u respond to our love? don't just think about the revenue.. think about our love, and the revenue will come by itself.

Nokia is FULL CRAP! Their handsets are plagued with software, hardware and infinite other problems wich spoil d entire user experience! Nokia once ruled the market, when there was no Iphone or Android or no other direct competitors! Nowadays, Nokia is on d extinction with crappy hardware n even crappier software! The only thing positive about Nokia is the Carl Zeiss cam lenses! That's all!

OMG...pls continue meego while having WP OS....the many, the merrier...my goodness, why let it happen nokia???? wakeup!!!!
meego is superb...its more than ios and android. Im 100% sure if they continue meego, it will outsell everything...wp os is nice too but there is no reason to discontinue meego...the two could be a great duet of a mobile company in a mobile industry.

AnonD-56393, 16 Jun 2012with out ellop Nokia woul be Bankrupt in Instant, Nokia has... moreThey are just need to continue what they started! Its a meego alternative for low end device!
I'll be happy if WP will remove those restrictions like Bluetooth transfer, mass storage, expandable memory! If they could add that then there's no problem and at the very cheap price of 150 dollars!

AnonD-56393, 16 Jun 2012with out ellop Nokia woul be Bankrupt in Instant, Nokia has... moreOh, great line of thought. And that's way they have already killed Symbian (scheduled to be put down in the long term) which is a successful OS, and also dropped Meego, which was a promising project with big partners like Intel and Samsung, not to mention a noumeros and die hard community of devs supporting it. All Nokia will be lef with is WP, a third party OS, just when every big player is trying to develop a successful mobile OS of their own.

Nokia please stop manufacturing faulty sets like that of 101, 1660 etc.....once you were loved and respected for being the manufacturer of great mobile sets like 3100, N73, 5310 and so on. Nowadays what has happened to you? why are you running after designing low quality and poor sets! Please don't just focus on price, rather focus on quality and feature.....recent productions are full of great disappointment.

i think they should carry on with the project and go on developing 40 and 60 series, they being the cheaper cell phones i think gave the user more sense of control over personal security, rather then these newer models, in which you cant even protect your personal stuff like pics from the whole world to display... The apps which are made for security or i might add the missing features from the newer expensive versions of the nokia sales line are not that inituitive as well... Nokia shoukd really work on its user interface, in which memo5 and meago were a huge step and they should be considered in the newer phones as an os... Especially memo5 was revolutionary at its time and has a lot of potential...
