25 June 2020
The Pro model was available through Amazon and the company's own online store, but there were no phones left soon after the 12pm start of sales.

Anonymous, 25 Jun 2020They have terrific quality. I've had a OnePlus 5T, OnePl... moreOnePlus 8 Pro has a defective display. They either rushed it out or they bought cheap panels from Samsung. Either way, plenty of OP8 Pro owners have already returned their devices due to these isues.

The Voice of Reason, 25 Jun 2020All these prices are still ludicrously high. I'm not sure w... moreThey will keep buying them because they want a BETTER phone at a lower price.

All these prices are still ludicrously high. I'm not sure why people keep buying OnePlus smartphones at this point. The maximum I'm gonna pay for a smartphone is $500 which is what I paid for the 1+6.

Sepfian, 25 Jun 2020How about OnePlus quality in general? This is very serious... moreThey have terrific quality.

I've had a OnePlus 5T, OnePlus 7T and OnePlus 8 Pro. All extremely high quality. I am comparing to Apple's iPhone 8, iPhone 11 Pro and Samsung's Galaxy S10+. OnePlus quality matches or exceeds.

            Anonymous, 25 Jun 2020Nah , its that good.....Nah, it's NOT that good.
This is all OnePlus propaganda, putting a very limited number of devices up for sale, in order to generate hype.
If Pixel sold more phones than OnePlus for the last 12 months then you know they don't sell many phones.
And both OP 8 phones are now way too expensive for most people. The 8 Pro is good, but sorry, too expensive. The regular 8 as well, you get less value for its price. OnePlus will survive selling the 7T for now...

How about OnePlus quality in general?
This is very serious question, actually.

              Thank you.

                Better buy from offline stores.

Ordered the device on OnePlus site on June 15th.
Expected shipment date is July 9th.

Whoever ordered on the subsequent sale days, have estimated shipping date as end of July. Pathetic service by OnePlus.

                          This GSMarena report is misleading!
                          I'm dying laughing.
There was no stock of Green/Blue variants of the Pro model, only black that too the 8GB variant was available for a short while in today's sale. On the other hand the vanilla 8 was available for hours to buy, even now the 6 GB variant is available.

Also, due to display issues/boycott sentiments many are either returning/cancelling or reselling in OLX and such.

The OnePlus 8 Pro was available only in the 8/128 version in Onyx Black colour on Amazon. And there wasn't any stock of 12/256 on OnePlus.in today either. Despite adding it to cart at 12pm sharp, I couldn't find it in my checklist, as it showed that the cart contains an item that is out of stock. Poor show by OnePlus

That 10 pieces sold out immediately
