Fun fact: Actually Google Photos is not 5 years old. It was called Picasa before, and was launched in 2002 before being acquired by Google.

While they guys are doing updates after updates and nothing changes, simple gallery is way better, faster and full of features, and private too.

It's a nice feature that map of taken photos, sadly Sony engineers messed it up and you won't find your photos on the map ... because the GPS sensor was disabled and you HAVE to turn it on manualy, of the location is 1 km off.
