SizN80, 26 Jun 2020Indeed, super unfortunate for any android, the iPhone 11 ha... moreYeah, its impressive how the SE raw power is, it remind me of the Poco F1 who was cheap but super powerful, of course the SE don't have the same features as Flagship Androids, but the iPhone 12 will really do equal or beat them feature wise !
The fact they can make a phone like that (All the sensors in the notch, all the back sensors, the high quality display, the high end SoC, etc etc) for such a price compared to flagship Android prove that most brand just have a huge margin on their price.

*It really is. Samsung gonna choke on their Note 20 lineup if this was real. And other phone makers are going to suffer with their expensive midrangers and flagship "killers". LMAO*

Well, I'll still buy the Poco F2 Pro to replace my OnePlus 6t, the value of this phone is really great IMO, also I am looking for pop up camera (or not front camera) anyway.

*Better priced droids later on? Cool.*

Well, if we are lucky, the iPhone 12 will indeed be well under the 1000¤ price tag and will force Android phones to get lower price.

That should teach android makers aiming for daily releases lol. Still not buying an iphone not only due to lack of "outdated" jack but due to a crippled walled garden compared to Androids.

Maybe we'll see better Androids in the future or the current used ones go down greatly in price. Too bad I needed a phone now.

At least Xcover pro (or its successor, if any) got me covered on the removable battery part.

kammem2, 26 Jun 2020If the base model is 549$, I am gonna swotch from Redmi not... moreMe too lol

shesha, 26 Jun 2020Given the life of an OLED display and the numerous problems... morei mum who still use gnote 3 since 2014 which have oled screen doesnt suffer any display problem (burn-in, pixel line, etc)

meanwhile my mum redmi 3 pro and my x perform (both use lcd screen) which we have since 2016 already suffer display problem like screen retention in my x perform (non permanent burn-in) and multiple permanent white spot in my mum redmi 3 pro

549$ that means that in Europe will cost around 600€!! The next iPhone will join the family near Christmas 😊

SizN80, 26 Jun 2020Indeed, super unfortunate for any android, the iPhone 11 ha... moreI like this. It shows Apple is getting serious at competing and not losing any more market share to Android phones. Android vendor will in turn demand faster processors from SOC makers such as Qualcomm and increase the duration of their aftermarket software updates and support. This is win-win for consumers.

My friend has an IPhone x since 2017 and it's still working with the same performance and the screen quality didn't change. Even if it did, he had a 2 year warranty to fix any problems such as that.

AnonD-909757, 26 Jun 2020RIP in peace Android smartphone at +1000¤Indeed, super unfortunate for any android, the iPhone 11 has already done them a lot of damage, the SE is also doing it’s but this iPhone 12 is going straight for the jugular.

No point in 1000USD androids if one can get a more powerful iPhone at $399-$550,lol.

Most 2021 androids will still be behind the iPhone 11 and SE
Look at how pathetic the $1400 s20 ultra performs compared to a $399 iPhone

Blackk Mamba , 26 Jun 2020Exactly I have been saying this for a while. The 128gb SE ... moreI don't agree.
SE2 was never ment to be used by users like you and me.
That is a device that is for people who uses smartphones as a phone primarily, who uses some extra futures on it sometimes, but also mostly for communication (fb, facetime,WhatsApp, fiber....)but don't really care about gaming, apps, videos, selfies....
If someone thought it could do that wit SE2, it's his own fault.
There is a reason why that phone is not a standard iPhone device, but an "SE".
I would never even consider that phone because of it's screen size, but for my mother, for example....it's battery is more than enough.
It last her a whole day on a battery, and she needs to charge it over night just like she used to do with Xiaomi's Redmi A2.
Just like millions of people did with their older iPhones since the first one.
Just like most of android users does every night.

And they would be perfectly OK with battery life of SE.
Not me and you, not most of kids who like to play a lot, not some working people who needs a phone to organize their life, work on video editing....but for all of us, there are other devices. Even from Apple ;)

But, that would say that this picture with all 3 phone sizes is a fail, since the smallest one will not have 3 cameras as it is shown.
                                    Not a problem....for a price, and knowing Apple's quality, I would rather have those 2 than 22 cameras from f.e. Oneplus .

Anyway, it is very dark times in front of some android OEMs.
If a regular buyer will have an option to buy $650 iPhone and some no name Chinese midrange android, what do you think he/she will choose!?

Same goes for flagships....$1000 for Xiaomi or Oppo?
And never get a chance to resell it? Even if one buy Samsung, it is loosing it value on used markets like crazy....and if same money is spent on iPhone, you are able to get your money back or at least 3/4 of it....even for a year old device.....and it is so easy to sell it.

Black Dream, 26 Jun 2020Android and iPhone Between them what's make difference ? I ... more"OS is the main reason why iOS working so smoothly even after years."

It's because Apple have both hardware and software game locked. This means they can squeeze all the power from their hardware and software when those working perfectly together.

Android and iPhone Between them what's make difference ? I think iOS. OS is the main reason why iOS working so smoothly even after years. iOS made for 3-4phones exactly but Android may be 1000+ phone per year. So, optimisation also make a problem for Android. If 549 rumours become true, it will be hard time for Android. And decently best for consumer.
