Be it SE 2020, iPhone 11 or XR, what Apple ends up conveying is their utter degeneracy of the visual aspects of the overall smartphone experience, at a time when Even web companies have to tailor their offerings with media consumption in mind.
No matter how streamlined the iOS ecosystem is, it remains straitjacketed by the constraints that an ill favored paradigm imposes.
At a time when competition is furnishes ever increasing refresh rate panels, Apple spews out Lcd panels with subpar resolutions. Thereby the budget offerings are left with nothing but handicapped A13 chip and interoperability of iOS devices,to offer as incentives.
Ever noticed, how every single positive reviews of iPhone 11, SE 2020 emphasizes the consumers who are coming straight from iPhone 6 or 7, looking for new model?

S20 ultra's bixby processing still sucks compared to iPhones.
It often overbrightens the image and lifts shadows way too much. See here:

IPhone doesn't do as good in low light compared to Find X2 pro or S20 ultra.
S20 ultra autofocus issues have been long fixed.
This isn't Apple that takes 6 months to fix updates after initially releasing beta software.
My brother owns the S20 ultra. It's autofocus might not be as fast as Find X2 pro or Huawei p40 pro but the previous issues have been fixed.
Small 1/2.3" sensor pales in comparison to large 1/1.33" sensor on the S20U.
It's not just about megapixels. But then expecting Cr@pple users to be educated on these matters is like expecting the sun to rise from the West.

I won't go into particular names but I agree with you. It is also understandable that a US-based reviewer will have the iPhone as their reference frame. The brand is highly influential and the company has deep deep pockets.

Yeah a 2000EUR laptop is good. But, if somebody who doesn't have money will buy a 200-300EUR laptop, they should automatically expect that laptop to perform bad? Or have problems with it? Isn't this the purpose of cheaper devices? To enjoy some of the things that the more expensive products offer, but at a lower cost.
Is the same case scenario with phones.
And by the way, like I said in my initial comment, I had also a 800EUR Android phone (S9+) with very bad experience too. I bought it mainly because I wanted to have the greatest (at that time) in Android phones. And guess what, I still had problems with it. Of course, not all Android flagships that I had were bad. I had a good experience with a Huawei P10 before that. But, this is the problem with Android phones, is a lottery. Always a lottery, and whoever had more than 5-10 Android phones from different manufacturers, can easily confirm this.

I remember one time with an Asus (I believe it was the Asus Zenfone Max 2 with Android 6.0). When the update to Android 7.0 came, apps starting crashing (like normal apps, twitter, facebook), phone freeze constantly. I was with the phone in warranty (because it was 3 months old phone) and they did a return to factory defaults and to Android 6.0. They told me never again should I make the update to Android 7.0, because it could break the phone. Ha ha, yeah, Android phones are the best.
I have other funny similar stories with other Android manufacturers if you want.
So please, do not tell me about Android phones. When it comes to software, they are very very very bad. No matter the brand and no matter the price (I had problems with 800EUR phone and with 150EUR phone). It is just a lottery, some models can be good others not. So, why take the risk? Not anymore for me.

Why does s20 ultra deserve a 122 while an iPhone deserves a 117? Oh I know why. It's cause DxOmark prioritizes zoom and camera specs rather than actual camera quality.
In an actually fair comparison, s20 ultra should score lower than iPhone 11 pro max.
Why does the mi 10 pro score so high? Because of it's 108MP quad cam, of course! But again, you should look at the software proccesing, not the specs.

iPhone X, XS and 11 is hardly larger than those and has 2 to 3 cameras at BACK and 2 cameras on the front including Face ID cam not counting how much space taking by flood illuminator and dot projector which are also lacked on SE. Did I mention iPhone 11 has 3000mAh battery contrary to SE's 1800mAh.
So please stop spreading misinformation. I don't know whether or not Apple said that there was no space for more than one camera, but simply it's false.
SE doesn't have more than one camera because otherwise it would cannibalize iPhone 11 line sales. SE lack of night mode and only because of Apple purposefully tuned its software that way for the same reason.
It's certainly possible to make full screen phone that size with bigger screen, more cameras and bigger batteries. But Apple won't that for that price.
That phone meant to be cheap for Apple pricing. So except the chipset it's really cheap.
This is poor man's iPhone.

My pictures taken using iPhone 3GS still looks useable and I love iPhone cameras. But we are talking about TOPPING the DxO chart. Yes, I agree that iPhones Cameras look great and produces fine picture quality. But Android mobiles apparently caught up with Camera and doing really great.

Just like displaymate review of displays. Their processes seems to be consistent, transparent and their scoring on each parameters reflecting the real situation in many cases. Their reviews based on the Software, test piece and other parameters. Not necessarily all mobile phones reviewed by DxO their camera performance remained same. It is possible for the OEM to improve upon its assemblies with better parts and upgrade their software etc ...
