Previously I used Xiaomi Mi Max 3, but because of something, I chose Redmi Note 9, but I was not satisfied with the small screen size. I hope this cellphone will soon be sold in my country.

sigh.....IF only it had GMS..... thanks to the freaking Trumpians!
WHY cant Xiaomi/rRedmi make such a big screen for such little money, reality is phones are getting bigger as people more on their phones now; so a bigger battery is also a must for bulk of these users.
Those with small hands complaining too big is just the minority (sorry) living in the past....even Steve Jobs is wrong about 4.0inch being the ideal size.....you only have to look at Apple now as proof.

Oh, the screen is so huge and even the choice of Mediatek processor is also good for the mid-range smartphones. This is really great.

Global version for $270, I will replace my Galaxy Tab S 8 with it.
I'm in the market for an LTE/5G tablet.

I am excited to witness the Dimensity 800 chipset in action. Faster connectivity will reach a new high.

Anonymous, 03 Jul 2020this phone display is 7.1" with aspect ratio 19:9 whic... moreIts barely any bigger than 7.1" 19.5:9 bs3 pro. Its not something that honor market research team worked so hard for like the guy thinks. Huawei themselves had an even bigger phone in 2018, mate 20x with 7.2" 18.7:9 ratio. Phones in general getting bigger, so huawei just made their big screen models a bit bigger. Nothing like when the galaxy note or mi max launched.

Anonymous, 03 Jul 2020It doesn't work that way.Enlighten us, genius.

Please please please let it be released globally. The honor x10 5G didn't get released here so I'm concerned that this would also not be released.

Thought I was not gonna buy a smartphone anytime soon but this one making me think again

Phones-makers are heavily dependent on their market research team since phones are largely driven by the market. Such market research is particularly important for a large-screen (7"+) phone project since it is for a niche market. Pretty sure there are other phone-makers who have their 'large-screen phone projects' on stand-by, waiting for their market teams to tell them to proceed. But at this point, Honor is the only phone-maker that are daring enough to take on this project, probably because they are (1) confident in their market research team, and (2) confident enough in their reputation as an established brand in its targeted market to drive the sale. With proper implementation and pricing, they can at least expect that the phone will sell well enough to be amply profitable.

Just hope there will be more phone-makers taking on such projects for various niche markets.
