05 July 2020
Not everyone is convinced - iOS is still miles behind in terms of customization, but it has the lead in updates and privacy.

The OS has way too much input overhead anyway, S20 Ultra feeling no faster than an iPhone 3GS in simple UI actions

The fact that it still relies on iTunes and that syncing method to transfer files instead of a direct file explorer based copy paste is the biggest reason for me to stay away from the Apple ecosystem.

Get rid of that and then it becomes a really lucrative proposition.

i'd consider switch to iOS if:
              1. BACK gesture like on android ( swipe from BOTH sides of the screen ).
              2. Face unlock DIRECTLY go to home screen, no need to swipe.
Honestly, these two things makes me HATE iOS

iOS was always very buggy. Definitely not the "stable" system.
In iOS, there is ALWAYS some important feature broken.

Abhi00, 05 Jul 2020Android is lot more superior when it comes to overall funct... moreA plug in expensive scrotum drive isn't 'expandle storage'. Come back when your glorious iPhone has a proper memory card slot (p.s. it'll be never)

Android is lot more superior when it comes to overall functionality, but when it comes to optimization, iOS is lot more stable and fluid.

See, I like gaming and had both ipod touch and android simultaneously for over a decade. My iPod Touch 2g with 248 mb RAM worked he'll better than Xperia Play with 1 GB RAM. Fast forward few years, my iPod Touch 5g with 512 mb RAM will beat Samsung Galaxy S4 with 2 GB RAM on any single game, on any single day. It was rule, not an exception. I have experienced how RAM and CPU has been hyped so much in android, and yet they under-perform when compared to iOS device with 1/4 th the size of RAM. After that, I jumped ship to iPhone 7 which I own still today. Yet I do love android, and had also parallel owned Samsung A7, Nokia 6.1 plus, and now Redmi Note 8.

About functionality, again Android is overhyped and bloated. Many functions which seem revolutionary actually existed way back in mid-2000 with Symbian. I had Nokia N95 8GB, and have experienced them.
And unlike what most android fans claim, there is not such a huge difference between the two OS right now. For example, expandable memory option exists for iPhone like Strontium IDrive which costs around $10. Most of you won't have heard about it, because you were busy hating IPhone, and never did a proper homework. Wifi transfer, Samba servers and all such things do exist for iPhone. And i haven't used iTunes for over 3 years now. So, there is no dependence on iTunes at all. Yeah, you need to download anything from App Store and nowhere else. But look at the brighter side, less chance of adwares (unlike Android), and less chance of cracked app, means Apple is actually taking care of its developer fraternity by limiting piracy. If you consider android superior coz it gives you freedom to get cracked apps, don't feel proud of your OS, but rather ashamed of your mentality.

See, arguments today shouldn't be about iOS vs Android. It should rather be about lower mid range Android vs the flagships. Android is so versatile, and you get 90% of what you want for $150-250, why should one cough up 4 to 6 times more money for a flagship? Are they really worth it when you can experience vanilla android for so cheap. I was contemplating get Samsung Note 10, but realised I could get Redmi Note 8 and ipad air 256 GB for same price. And double the fun. I know, many people will come swearing at me, but I am talking all sense and no prejudice.

The Iphone 11 max will probably be the last one as the only thing apple cares about is money not adding a charger or headphones.
