to all those posting about Symbian, do a little research so that you don't sound uneducated. the trend nowadays is towards html5 and Symbian mainly runs on java which even adobe says is obsolete. Symbian provides everything android does without the need for penta core or 2gb of ram.

Guys read the news of cnet... Its clearly mentioned that Nokia reviewed the plans of launching puerview in USA only b'cos of good consumer demand which forced the company to launch in amazon.

I can confirm that Nokia 808 can't play DivX/XviD/AC3/FLAC codecs as well.
All those video/audio codecs are very common in these days and even $200 to $300 phones can play those codecs.
Nokia, Nokia, Nokia. This is an epic failure. Nice try though.

Playing an fullHD moview has nothing to do with its screen resolution, because when playing the video is scaled, but do you watch FULLHD videos on a phone?? There are TVs for that!!! You can stream the 1080p video from 808 direct to your TV!

1080p video play back - dude, it records at 1080p 30fps, it is obvious that it can play 1080p, God, android fanboys does not have brain??!!

DLNA - it has DLNA
NFC - it has, NOKIA was the first to use NFC!
Bunch of HD games - it has many games
USB OTG - Symbian has USB OTG for ages, do you live in a cave?!!

Camera resolution =/= mobile phone display resolution.
Well, its screen is 360 x 640. Yes, 808 can record 1080p due to the 38 MP camera(7152 x 5368), but technically it can't play it on the display(360 x 640).
