Oldy, 03 Jul 2020The faster the charger, the sooner it will ruin the batteryUnfortunately a lot of people don't know this. People should know this would result in a way shorter battery life for their phone.

Anonymous, 03 Jul 2020I am curious how these super-fast chargers impact battery l... moreThat is obvious.
Only ppl that come here to hate on brands like Apple, Sony, LG and Google have not realized this.
Any company that has made laptops at some point would be able to offer 50, 70 or more watts, they wrongly think these companies cannot.
They do not do because they do not want too.
Probably xiaomi will use 4 cells and charge 25W, but advertise as 100.
Like Oppo uses two batteries for few models.
If you have 2 prototypes of same phones and they support 45W.
Both are 4500mAh.
Prototype A will use 12W.
Prototype B will use 45W.
After few months, prototype A will have more mAh than B.
That is a fact.

I am curious how these super-fast chargers impact battery life.
My Xiaomi charges at 30w and I am already seeing a noticeably faster drain after about 6 months.
