Sanjay, 08 Jul 2020Why smartphone makers make stupid decisions...opting for 14... moreIf it's true that the iPhone 12 display has a refresh rate of 120hz then we might actually see 120fps gaming on iPhones. At the moment, 60 is the max fps.

People eyeing on top and want it for cheap.
LOL !!!
Some people want top stuff to be great but not that great that goes out of their reach.
Hilarious !

Anyway, SD865+ isn't going to be any pricier than the regular 865 SoC if not cheaper(comparing 865's launched price). It's basically almost the same CPU and GPU with clock boost.

AnonD-754814, 08 Jul 2020Nice joke. The A13 is still on top.Yep, Apple's custom cores are still faster and more efficient than ARM designed cores which is kinda ironic given that ARM invented the instruction set.

Snapdragon prices rising exponentially.

MagicMonkeyBoy, 08 Jul 2020Absolute Monster! 865 + :-) And the A13 has a long time ... moreHaha a year old a13 bionic is still unbeatable by these jokingly pricy Snapdragon processors

Why smartphone makers make stupid decisions...opting for 144hz display has no advantanges for gaming since sd865 processors are capable of rendering 60 to 80 fps in games...I don't know why they are called gaming phones...bcaz iphones simply thrash the competition with their A series chipset...they can easily render 120 fps games....next one ..I mean a14 chipset can render 140 fps games..they only are capable of advertising 144 hz displays

I wonder what you will say this time?

Great chip and all but the world is getting poorer not richer, we need cheap stuff as well

potato4k, 08 Jul 2020*yawn So basically just the 855 overclocked a bit. Wrong. A77 cores are an upgrade. And while the gpu is not a huge step it's welcome. Especially combined with the improved cpu. Among all the other little things Qualcomm does in there.
Plus put into these gaming phones means sustained performance.

MagicMonkeyBoy, 08 Jul 2020Absolute Monster! 865 + :-) And the A13 has a long time ... moreOnly if you were a competitive player.this things are said by only kids who look at the specs, maybe benchmarks and call it a day.but if you ask a professional player who plays competitively in games like pubg.only then, only than you will understand what iphones are really all about.their optimization is like no one.i am an android fanboy.but if there is one area where android lags behind,it is the gaming

Also with a more than 10% increase in price, thank you. If this is not a pointless chip just to please the smartphone bourgeoisie and pleb mobile gamerz, then what is. Give us a 865-/865lite/865m.

MagicMonkeyBoy, 08 Jul 2020Absolute Monster! 865 + :-) And the A13 has a long time ... more"And the A13 has a long time ago been left in the dust..."
While this is untrue, it's also worth noting that A13 is almost a year-old processor.

*yawn So basically just the 855 overclocked a bit.

We have just started seeing phones of 865 and 865+ details pop up. Not sure how expensive 865+ would be

Absolute Monster! 865 + :-)

And the A13 has a long time ago been left in the dust...

Absolutely... The best SoC for a smartphone on the planet...

Only a gaming phone deserves that SoC...

Simply overkill for someone who is only going to use there phone for whatsapp or Facebook...
