Yet it'll get crushed about a 12 MP 3A from last year when it comes to photography. So enjoy your 48 megapixels.

Still though, those two phones are very expensive and this is likely to be a lot cheaper

Yeah, definitely won't be the imx589 as that is customized for Vivo. The imx586 with OIS makes sense as it's what Oppo uses in their upper midrangers and Oneplus are also using it in the OP8

IpsDisplay, 07 Jul 2020This is just an unimpressive device This is not worth th... moreThe weakest mid-range processor??? Then what about the 720/730 and/or the 710/712? They must be bottom of the barrel, entry-level, then?

I can understand that you are a fan of MTK, but the 765G is a very powerful SoC. Also, new ones come out all the time (768 and so on), so it's an endless debate. The bottom line is that even the 720/730 is powerful enough for pretty much everything that you can throw at it today, except for running in very high graphics the most demanding games.

Hard pass. Only a oneplus sheep can appreciate it. Oneplus is not premium brand and their os is not great as fanboys have been singing it out loud. I prefer moto UI while someone else might prefer oppo or honor or realme; I would have considered it worth getting, even after that snail paced soc if they had put main camera from one plus 8 Pro.

All of a suden I'm starting to like more about the new moto g 5G rather than this one...

Too much hype for me I'm the end it will be just another 765 snapdragon device .... And 445€? Seriously?!

Man I just feel it would have made much more sense to have the latest Dimensity chips they have power with the right price it seems. With 765g I have much better options that have almost all the things Nord offers for much less. Such hype, much disappointment.

I bet it must be the usual Sony IMX586 sensor. I'd be surprised if it's the same IMX589 sensor found in the vivo X50 Pro.

SD765G is anything but weak. Benchmark harlots might be disappointed, but practically any user (basic or advanced) will be satisfied with it's performance.

If you want the best specs on a budget, you have plenty of options from the likes of Xiaomi or Realme to choose from. You choose OnePlus when you care about the software experience & long term software updates alongside good hardware.

Why do they use a stupid depth sensor instead of a nice Tele camera

It's a pitty that this doesn't get flagship SoC but i understand Oneplus strategy.
Oh well, best flagship "killer" 2020 continues to be the Xiaomi Redmi K30 Pro for around 400.

You are also talking about chips that are long off their release. I don't think this isn't ok (it's just another midranger sadly) but what I do think is that this is not the true oneplus. The true oneplus, as I have said before, has a flagship SOC under 600$. Sadly this is not that, which makes me wanna throw up. Oneplus is really taking their succes to their head

I was really hoping for the oppo reno 3pro's camera setup, would have made this phone AN ABSOLUTE BANGER

I'd rather get a OP 7T, better SoC , better camera array, a frigging flat screen
