      I really like this strategy by Mediatek. Pushing 5G chipsets in every segment and I think this will hurt Snapdragon much.

        Name is Dimensity 720...instead of 600
        No other information about what is inside this soc

          This is exciting. Dimensity is bringing forth more affordable 5G options for users and I am here for it.

            MediaTek Dimensity chipsets are going to give good competition to the rest of the 5G chipsets.

              The Snapdragon 6xx & 7xx have & 8xx big different in modem.
              The modem in Snapdragon 7xx is more sensitive / have better reception than in SD 6xx. If you living in an area that have bad reception, the 7xx will outshine 6xx tremendously.
              Also... The modem in SD 8xx is also way more sensitive than in 7xx.

              But in 5G era...
              The 8xx & 7xx have the same modem.
              While the SD 690 modem is one grade bellow than SD 8xx/7xx.

                  IpsDisplay, 09 Jul 2020Your right looks like I was wrong about thatFor perspective, the SD675 is significantly faster in CPU than the SD710. The GPU is where it evens up a bit. So it just depends how you use the phone. I think the 690 will be the same story. I find it hard to believe the D600 will compete with the SD690, but we will find out. I'm thinking more along the lines of SD730G with 5G capability. That would still be a very good SoC. I use custom ROMs a lot though personally.

                            For context the 765 has only 2 A76 cores compared to 4 on the dimensity 820

                            My bet is the 690 has only has one A77 core

                                        examples: Remdi 10x series(already a mid-range beast powerful performance than sd 765g, check review of franklie tech , tech tablets, techuptopia), oppo reno and upcoming honor series phones
