Wow still waiting for the LG Stylo 5 to get Android 10 for my carrier why do you even bother making phones just be consistent with updates. God I'm so ready to get a iPhone just to get away from LG and the inconsistency it brings

Lg makes good phones but software support is next to none, I luv my v20 and the g2 long before that, but sadly never another LG again...I am still waiting for android 9 for the v20, but I am not holding my breath....Xiaomi here I come...

This was what they implied when the V20 came out. I think it was the first phone to launch with Nougat (even before the first Pixel came out, unless I'm mistaken) and they marketed the hell out of it. I am still using this solely because of its hardware merits. LG never keeps promises regarding its software and this is the last time I'm going to be using an LG phone.

If you won't update the G6 H870DS and other variants at least unlock the bootloader for customisation.

LG, it would be good if you can upgrade your crappy software updates promptly, everyone who boght an LG over the past few years been burnt, you are either the slowest or worse still no major updates even after a 1.5year and ranked among the worst compared with other major manufacturer, even the chinese brands like Xiaomi are way better; especially with major updates.
I stop buying Lg after receiving only a single major update from Android 7 to Android 8 with my LG V20 factory unlocked version, so stop blaming telcos.
LG updated Korean version to Android 9 and we the global version got rip off with NO updates to Android 9.....most disappointing with the double standards.

I am currently using the LGV20 and recently I bought a new Realme 6 Pro and one of the reasons I went for the Realme was the regular updates. LG suck at updates.

Who cares for updates?
I'm happy with the phone as it is and it's good to have it updated but there's rarely anything new.
People talk about updates these days as if there's a sky-high difference b/w them.
