I can use Pocket PC with 1 finger, & also 1 hand & using my nail.
Working with Win Mobile is very easy & fast.
You guys don't know how to tweak Win Mobile for best performance.
Don't you know, Win Mobile is lite version of normal Windows.
I have PlayStation 1 emulator for Pocket PC & I can play Tekken 3 in my Pocket PC.
Can you do this in Symbian?
Most adventure games size in Pocket PC is 20~50 MB, what about Symbian?
Do you know how many softwares developed for Win Mobile Pocket PC?
How much do you know about Win Mobile, huh?
Why Sony Ericsson developed Win Mobile Phone?
I'm tired to telling all people like you.
Go & burn your money with Symbian phones, it's your choise

Sina, there's a trade-off between 'pro' and 'practical'. WM isn't practical by any means, but if you want to sit down with your device, using 2 hands, and write out and entire word or excel document, WM is obviously the way to go. I just question the merits of such a complicated OS in a handheld device of this type. I also question whether it would be possible to create a device which is much easier to use but with the same power as WM. To me symbian bridges this gap nicely, to others maybe not. I suppose in the end there is no 'perfect OS' because everyone likes something different.

I think most of you don't like Win Mobile, because it's very pro & complicated & hard to use.
Win Mobile is not for kids.
        Symbian is a dumb OS.
You can't compare Microsoft with Symb developers.
You can stick to Symbian 4ever.

            Hey ya'll,

looking at the developer portal of sony-ericsson.com you could get clarity about a lot of specs on the X1, for instance WM6 at least is confirmed in the official developers guidelines, no sign of 6.1 here however. Just have a look...

i changed my mind!!! im no longer interested in this phone

i have tested WM6, and it seems that it has lots of problems!
also, comparing the speed of WM6 based PDA from a symbian os, WM6 based phone seems to run slower even though they have faster processor and the same RAM! why is that????

WM6 turns me off from an otherwise sexy phone. it really doesn't sound so good anymore. although the processor speed and both ram and flash looks promising, i'm not a bit worried about the WM6 OS, if they would decide to use WM7, i would have to test it first before changing my opinion.

I hope a new P series will come out with this specs and a non-windows based os... sigh

Everything is predetermined to be outdated, after 1 comes 2 and so on... so don't hold you're breath while you're waiting for the ultimate os.

                            design by S.E. = $
                            manufactured by HTC = $
                            OS by windows = $

more or less we have an idea of how much this would cost.
                            prepare a leg everyone :D

i think WM 7 is under development, and was never meant to be disclosed to public at this stage. otherwise, people would instead just wait for WM7 phones to come out instead of buying a WM6 OS phone which is predetermined to be outdated once WM7 will come out.

still, experia looks to be promising. i just hope that with the integration of SE's own touch to the WM6 the User interface would be pleasing. for the moment, this experia seems to be an ideal PDA phone, but since it will be launched months from now, well see what else will pop up out of the horizon.
