And sells many phones from many phone brands.
And some apps can only be frozen you cant delete them.
I mean only few customers know how to root their phone but in this case it means they lost 2 years of warranty which is really bad thing to do.

Kara Murat, 10 Jul 2020it shows that you have never used a Oneplus because Oxygène... moreMan this i exactly know but i was speaking about other companies such as Samsung which uses for example google chrome and at the same time Samsung internet which are two apps doing th exactly same and are part of the OS and cant be deleted just reverted back to minimum possible working condition or instalation proces or how to say.
Same goes for samsung health app which can be replaced from google play by another tons of apps which do same and a lot better and dont cost a lot of space like samsung health and what with people which dont want it at all.
Same you can find in MUI or in IOS tons of useless garbage like Itunes and many else.
Cyanogfen is as you said closest possible to stock android which is like best UI.
Then we have Motorola and Nokia phones which use stock android witb are minimum add-ons.

Hmmm... I see no sign of 3.5mm audio jack here. But then again, I don't expect that feature to be present on the Nord since OnePlus ditched that feature starting with the 6T. What is a real bummer for me is the lack of a native telephoto camera. At least a 2x zoom telephoto camera like in OnePlus 7T should suffice.

To be honest, this seems like a decent phone with decent specs for 'fair price'. But what are all this hype is about ? This can lead to a backfire, people will be disappointed because it is not a groundbreaking innovative phone like all this commercials are saying about.

If anything I wish more manufacturers will make smaller ,high performance phones these days (smaller than 5.5 inches)

Stock android is better than most UIs... moreApps can always be debloated.
If one doesn't have root, they can be easily disabled/frozen where they don't run in the background or hog more RAM.
Stock ROM skips practically all the useful features that are more likely to be present on other Android skins (irrespective of whether they are light or heavy skins).
People who brag about stock ROM being better usually lack experience of using different Android skins (especially skins from 2020).
I run my own shop selling phones from different brands, so I know what I am talking about.

Nobody expect a perfect phone for 300 usd, but we DID expect a solid "no bullsh*t" phone for 300 usd... Vivo just released a phone with 765G and 120Hz screen for 230 usd so it was entirely possible for OP to make a phone with same chipset (or better yet, Dimensity 820) and 90Hz screen for 300 usd...
People wanted raw power for great buck, they got a lot of bullsh*t and marketing for an awful price. This is why they're disappointed.
