Why do you feel authorized to tell someone what does he want? Did you ever thought about why only batteries that comes with phones should be charged in 30 minutes, and why every manufacturer of rechargeable batteries recommends to charge them slowly? So, i DO WANT to charge them for hours.

"batteries feature lower capacities than their predecessors." It wont matter, the proc chipset is on 5nm and so will need less energy to operate. Interesting apple is beating all other phone makers to 5nm.

I hope those morons will not introduce them as ultra slim iphone with almost no battery life on the stage....It seemed apple is quite okay with charging the phone every ... single day.. I will go back to Poco F2 pro and enjoy the feature which iOS users will not tast in the next 3 years..

Krish Singh, 13 Jul 2020LMFAO...flawed comparison, typical from a fandroid really. ... moreAre you suggesting that iPhones don't need faster charging because they're "better optimised"? I think you're missing the point. Faster charging means less time charging the phone whether it's an iPhone or Android phone. If a battery comes close to 4,000 mah in size, you do not want to use a 5 watt charger and spend hours charging it.

iOS has good optimization so I expect good battery life but still these battery sizes are a disappointment. The screen sizes have increased so that automatically gives you more volume inside the phone. Apple has a history of reducing battery sizes in subsequent phones(7 to 8) but that was usually accompanied by some extra hardware(Wireless Charging) and the screen size remained same. Unless Apple is including some extra hardware components or better cooling, this is a complete failure of phone design. The battery size of 6.1in iPhones is down 10% from iPhone 11.
For comparison, Sony Z5 compact had 2700mAh battery and it was only slightly larger that original iPhone SE with a 4.6in screen. Nokia 8 sirocco is slightly larger than current iPhone SE but has a 3260mAh battery, one more camera sensor and a 5.5in screen with same screen aspect ratio.

Anonymous, 13 Jul 2020Having to recharge a phone twice a day doesn't seem to... moreOnly 5 year old used Android phones need to be charged twice a day.
Still they end up giving 6hr screen on time for each charge.
To expect a new cellphone to be charged twice a day is simply not acceptable in 2020.

iPhone battery optimization is still far better than ANY android out there. Standby time has always been outstanding too.

Comparing battery capacity is useless when resource hog android can't even match iOS battery usage.

So, to me Fandroids desperately need super fast charging and huge batteries due to battery draining way faster than a usual iOS device.

This is exactly what i mean, Android created this whole numbers game mentality amongst its flock. RAM this, battery capacity that, megapixel this. Android needs to work much harder on optimization due to massive issues with fragmentation.

The notch has a clear purpose, the pathetic attempt of Google was a massive fail. Huawei implementation is not even worth mentioning since it not supported on the same level as FaceID when it comes to apps.

Unexpected from Apple.
The battery capacity is bigger than the SE, despite the dimensions of 5.4 inch one is overall smaller.
Good stuff.

Chargers with 'USB C' port and Universal power delivery support are cool!
