In 2000, the touchscreen Ericsson R380 Smartphone was released.
In early 2001, Palm, Inc. introduced the Kyocera 6035, the first smartphone to be deployed in widespread use in the United States.
In 2001 Microsoft announced its Windows CE Pocket PC OS would be offered as "Microsoft Windows Powered Smartphone 2002.
In 2002 RIM released their first BlackBerry devices with integrated phone functionality and shifted the positioning of their products from 2-way pagers to email-capable mobile phones.

You should know the history of smartphones.
Plus by when Apple first released their first iPhone in 2007, the older companies would've released new versions of their own OS and new phone style.

I enjoyed reading this, I am a fanatic about mobile technology, I have a range of tablets and smartphones, and had a total so far, about 103 devices, and none was from Apple, because they do not like. Ah, now if I explain why the GSMARENA not allow both text my condolences Apple! SAMSUNG Yeah, congratulations!

Samsung is a massive company they make components for mobiles, TV's and other products essentially they control alot of the parts needed for other companies including competition but they dont monopolise and strangle the market out of business.

Apple will file a lawsuit against Samsung stating that they attempted to sue first so suing is their invention. They are applying for patent right now and Samsung should compensate for steeling this breakthrough idea

First thing when the Samsung i9100 came out everyone was comparing it with the iphone 4 and so they raged because well it was new and stuff like that but still after the iphone 4s launched the i9100 still has better benchmarks. So in my opinion i have to say that you are ignorant and do not know what you are talking about.

old apple phones used a lot of samsung tech and yet there are all these apple fan boys claiming they was better. The Galaxy S phones have always been like for like with iphone. Apple stopped charging tart tax on their tech they may get a bigger chunk of the market. You can get the SGS3 for free on a £35 contract, when the iphone 4s came out you be lucky to get it free on £45 cos apple are rotten to the core
