WP8 seems tempting. I owned WP7 but went back to Android because WP7 was primitive. I like both Microsoft and Goggle so it will be a tough one.

hahaha, 21 Jun 2012soon crapdroid quadcores stop producing 4cores they go agai... moreOf course this is about to happen, but it's not because quad cores are useless. The current quad core Cortex A9 SoCs are about to be replaced by dual core Cortex A15 SoCs. Then quad cores will come again with quad core Cortex A15 SoCs.

And this trend will probably continue as new manufacturing processes (lower nm chips, 3d circuit builds) develop. Is similar to why the best Nehalems where replaced by Sandy Bridges, now Ivy Bridges and soon those will be replaced by Haswells.

Is not that quad cores are useless or dual cores are better. It all depends on the architecture, clock speeds, cache and many other factors that improve between generations of processing units. But more cores DO matter and usually improve performance (whether you exploit it all or not).

Its unfortunate news that Qualcomm will be the main provider of chipsets. It would have been a powerful partnership bwetween Nvidia and Microsoft so it looks like I will have to go to Android once I decide to replace my Nokia n900. Nvidia are the only reason why the desktop market is still going due to its superb graphics cards.

what wow, 21 Jun 2012i find it hard to believe that nokia fanboys think multi co... moreOne word: xolo. Intel single core that competes against quad cores. There goes your optimised theory. Even intel commented on this. If quad core was better then the single core should have been blown away. With windows you can bet on optimised software up to 64 cores. So yeah. More cores better just not on android. Maybe jelly bean will fix that

Ha ha ha. Microsoft said dual ou quad core processor where a wasting of resources, because thei will drain your battery and the android was nor prepaire for multi cores.

Android still has a lot of room to get customised for extra cores. with the current development trend and the plethora of dev support , i am sure it shall acheive that soon.

i find it hard to believe that nokia fanboys think multi cores are a good thing yet yesterday they were bashing multi cores....what hipocrites !
Also they claim android doesnt know how to use multi cores but the fact is android uses multi cores perfectly...it shows in all the benchmarks...and it visible in the kernel and virtual machine code...of course fanboys know nothing about coding and reality....they just bash using pipe dreams as arguments and proof.

Chip S4 support to 20 Mpix but Nokia 808 have special Pureview IPU (Image processing unit) so If they wish they can bypass S4 limit by integrating that chip.
People 1.3 GHz CPU of Nokia 808 is to weak to support 41 Mpix photo all magic is in that special chip.
