Anonymous, 14 Jul 2020Since they are not a publicly registered company, any numbe... moreDon't think so. They still have strong sales, especially in Asia, and I can find every Huawei phone in Europe to. They will be number on for sure.

$64B revenue with 9% net profit. With that kind of cushion, Huawei would do well to make strategic acquisitions, like, oh I don't know, perhaps a controlling stake in ARM holdings (yes, that ARM)? Parent company Softbank is in dire straits and is planning on putting ARMH back on IPO (which they acquired for $32B cash in 2016). Can you imagine the irony if Qualcomm ends up paying licensing fee to Huawei?

Well, that's not so hard to do. Just raise your prices every year by 15-20%, and there you go. Anyone ever wondered why the prices went from $300 for a midranger and $500 for a flagship a couple of years ago, to $500 for a midranger and $1000 for a flagship today, while the technology become cheaper and cheaper?

I love Huawei products. Let's hope they come with a better alternative to Android. Else, microg project is there to help us.
