Possible sighting of Samsung Galaxy Tab A 7.0 at Geekbench shows Snapdragon 662 chipset

14 July 2020
This chip is similar to the 665, but it has a better ISP and local wireless connectivity, the LTE modem is a little slower.

Aldwin123, 14 Jul 20207.0 inches??? I think that is too small for a tablet in 202... moreOther aspect ratio's thank god. Try watching a movie on a 16:9 phone or and 19:9 phone. First one will be better. Also, that means 7 inch on a tablet is wider than 6.9 inch on a phone. The phones nowadays are way too big, but the same goes for tablets (midrange and high end, you have like 2 options for 8 inch). I have to admit, I still enjoy watchibg movies a lot on my tab S5e.

My sister has my old S2 8.0 (4:3) and my brother is using it toosometimes, it shouldnt be a lot bigger for their hands (they are 8 and 12). Esprcially my brother is struggling to use my tab (10.5 inch, 16:10). Also, 7 inch is better to carry around in a smaller bag. If it is cheap, it will be perfect for my brother.

If it come with lte and can make phone call like regular phone then I snatch one for sure. The 6xx series chipset + 3gb ram is decent enough for everyday usage.

Aldwin123, 14 Jul 20207.0 inches??? I think that is too small for a tablet in 202... moreI don't think they'll make a tablet that is actually smaller than the previous year's in the same series? The naming might have to do with the consistency, as the S series is going to be called S7 (if we don't take this listing into account, the '.0' has not been visible elsewhere in the A series naming). I might be wrong though, but I do agree that a 7 inch tablet makes absolutely no sense at all, whichever way you look at it.

Aldwin123, 14 Jul 20207.0 inches??? I think that is too small for a tablet in 202... moreA 7-inch tablet is still much more convenient than a 6.5 inch super tall phone when watching 16:9 media.
But anyway they already have that new Galaxy tab A 8.4 inch tablet, which is relatively good.

"Bengal seems to be the 662, which despite its model number, is actually better than its sibling with an upgraded ISP and better Bluetooth and Wi-Fi support."
The isp and wifi is better in sd665 which can record 4k videos and up to 240 fps slow motion and 600mbps download speed while sd662 is stuck with 1080p 60fps and 390 download speed

7.0 inches??? I think that is too small for a tablet in 2020. I mean S20 Ultra is 6.9 inches but with different Aspect Ratio....

I wish Samsung release a better BUDGET 8.0 inches tab and an 8.0 inches FLAGSHIP Tablet..
