My Galaxy S III is only two weeks old. Though I love the phone, today it started heating up something fierce, and discharging the battery, while I wasn't even using the phone. Finally turned it off and back on, then put in on the charger. Now it seems OK. How weird is that?

i find it funny that a lot of people bash on a certain brand for no reason; or because somebody on the internet said it sucks and started calling it "scamsung"(for example in this case) or something like that . . really pathetic . .
or if that person does have a reason that his/her phone broke or bricked . . he blames the brand, the phone model, the store/retailer, other people but doesn't even say anything about how they treated their phone . . i see videos on youtube titled something like "this phone sucks" then in their video, they destroy the phone by smashing it with a hammer or something . . they didn't even explain how they charge the device, whether they leave it charging for the night(which is stupid), or they do something stupid to it, or doesn't know how to use it properly . .
so all i see is someone who's not capable of taking care of their phone so they destroy it on the internet to show off to people and gain attention . .

there are some dos and donts with regard to caring for your cellphone always use recommended or inbox accessories. keep away from open or naked flame excessive heat. remove from charge once battery is full do not over charge. unplug when talking on phone. safety first

apparently this guy was using a charger on his car, but it probably was a cheap one so that is what it caused it, as it always happens..I don't think samsung is responsible for this..how many volts was the phone receiving? how many volts does the original charger provide? ahhh ahh

Wow, there is a lot of comments for a single device explosion.
Granted it is world's top selling smartphone right now and there are also a lot of funny top comments.
But some comments worry me, although I don't like Scamsung I can't believe this is the whole true story.
If I used an incompatible car charger and my shinny new phone would explode I would lie to darn Scamsung like I never lied before and would completely deny any incompatible car charger usage. And they can't prove otherwise!

I think u didnt get me. Anyways all i was saying is that when the iPhone exploded there were lots of people bashing up iPhone specially the samsung fanboys,but today not many apple fans are doing the same here.Apple users atleast know that its technology,and few glitches are inevitable.
