In India Galaxy S series and iPhone which are way expensive than this vivo sells very well because those specifications are worth it not like this overpriced vivo junk

India is biggest market for oneplus phones,also apple is consistently trying to expand its presence in india.There are too many indians that can buy such pricey phones.So this phone is certainly within reach of many indians.
But please note this segment of smartphones is dominated by OnePlus,Apple,Samsung.because they provide better quality,customer service, reliability & brand value.
Vivo certainly lack these factors.Maybe their hardware is on par with others but their software is a big let down along with poor service & brand value.
Such high prices for these phones really don't make sense.
For such prices there are many better alternatives like iPhones,Oneplus 8,8 Pro upcoming Zenfone 7 & ROG lll.ecen last year's Galaxy S10 is much better dewl overall than this.
These phones should have been priced atleast ₹15,000 cheaper than current prices.
But at these prices vivo will be lucky to sell even 1000 of these X50s.

at first, I was excited when hearing vivo will launch their X series again globally, I was using their X5 Pro years ago, their audio is really good bcause using cirrus logic DAC (but small battery because thin phone was the trend at the moment).
I was planning to buy X50 pro+ then order all their vivo gaming accessories, but now I need to forget it because there are 2 letdowns which deal breaker for me. First, X50pro+ seems wont be available globally. Second, there's no headphone jack although they said it has AKM or Cirrus logic DAC :(

These phones are certainly not intended for the Indian market. The phones, when correctly and properly priced, are beyond the reach of the Indian buyers, just like many of the similarly priced Oppo series and Xiaomi series of the past. The launch will be symbolic since very few units will eventually be sold, and the total sale will not be profitable enough to compensate for the cost of related marketing, employee training, and setting up the repair units.
It is time for these smartphone-makers to think how to avoid such wasteful rituals in the Indian smartphone market.

Many higher-priced phones will not be made to the Indian market. But of all the phones made to the Indian market in 2020, vivo X50 pro is likely the only phone that comes with some truly new and impactful technology. Don't expect similarly new and impactful technology from Samsung or iphones in 2020.

Chinese brands use their crappy UI full of bloatware+ads.
Seriously with these prices,hardware is alrady overpriced.even top of that these phones come with crappy softwares from vivo.
Slow android updates,less focus on security.
Asus provide flagship phone with clean UI. (Somewhat buggy but still much better than chinese crap UI)
Really this phone is just pointless at this price.
Better go for OP8/8 Pro or Zenfone 7/ROG lll.
Even last year flagships are much better deal than this crap at this price.

Dude it's 50k INR you are talking about and what this phone has to even offer against the rest of the competition, it's not like this phone's camera is out of this world and none of the smartphone camera in this price bracket of 50k INR can compete with this phone.

honor 30pro+ doesnt have google service, so think carefully if you rely on google services, also think carefully about the availability of other local apps like e-banking, transportations (like uber service or other local service available in your place) etc on honor/huawei app gallery

... moreyes, exactly what I think, if its vivo upper midranger and flagship it must have the DAC, it said X50 pro has AK4377 while X50 pro+ got cirrus logic, but where the h3ll they put those DAC chips? is it on their 3,5mm adapter? it wont be use if those chips only can be used for speakers output only (but their ads suggested with picture its hifi capability when using plugged earphones)

The phone doesn't have a headphone jack. I absolutely do not get how you plan to utilize it. Did they just shove that chip in for the High-Res Label?
Just buy any phone with usb-c and get yourself an adapter. Hidizs S3, Meizu Adapter, IBasso DC are some that come to mind. Or something extremely cheap like an ALC4042 adapter.

Instead of this, buy IQoo 3 which costs around 15000 less than Pro variant of X50, and you'll still have flagship processor and good enough camera.
I still don't understand how Vivo is charging such exorbitant price for a midrange phone..
But that's okay, it is Vivo after all. They will bring the price down by INR10,000 in the next 2 months

When it be available on the Europe Market ?. This phone has good audio, AK4377a Hi-Fi chip and Hi-Res certification. I am waiting for european price.
