Spanky, 28 Jul 2020It sound really cool, but I highly doubt it’s the 865 (non-... moreNever trust Antutu as your benchmarking tool. It's not reliable and unclear how they account for the scoring system.

A speed test (ex. Speed Test G) is still probably the best way to measure realistically how fast your phone is, and it makes sense because it knows real-world performance.

You can use Geekbench only to measure raw performance, but you must repeat it to find out how your phone handles thermal throttling.

It sound really cool, but I highly doubt it’s the 865 (non-plus). Most likely, it’s the Snapdragon 865+, since Xiaomi has the habit of releasing phones with new SoCs as soon an they are announced.

Besides, if a Snapdragon 865 gaming phone, with active cooling and plenty of optimizations, can only get 620K in AnTuTu, how on Earth could Xiaomi squeeze an extra 50K from the same chip?

Anonymous, 28 Jul 2020Actually They have 'legalize' the cheat It'... morePerformance mode is another way of cheating. But not every brand includes it.

Also performance mode doesn't justify it's name because the performance is actually worse than regular mode if you do long term gaming. It's just better for bench-marking.

Besides MediTek includes the cheat-code into the SoC. Even Oppo(might be Vivo) said that they didn't know that MediaTek included cheat-code into the SoCs itself.
