This is being used as bait & promote principle to aspire for much expensive Oneplus by the most instead of going after cheaper Nord by the potential 8 & 8 Pro buyers. Those who do not have money anyways will go after this with small orders (most likely flash sales). Here OnePlus 8 & 8 Pro going like hot cakes. By making it look like a cheap plastic they trap fence sitters with expensive one. Just imagine if Nord is perceived as premium, Oneplus will lose all its premium customers to cheaper Nord!

They did not overhype the Nord news.
They reported the Android wallpaper bug.
They also mentioned the 2nd India apps ban along with hundreds of additional apps under surveillance.
They also do not interview that Realme boss.
And there are also less iOS trolls in AA.

It's been obvious for a while that OnePlus have become who they took market share from in the first place.
The OS enhancements are impressive, but their original price/performance argument has been shattered. Realme is probably the new OnePlus these days, and earlier-era OnePlus consumers like myself should probably be looking at them if they're still OK buying Chinese. (Which I'm personally not, but I'm fully aware my A70 was suboptimal on price-performance. But then so are OnePlus now.)

Realme X2 Pro is not good because of its poorly made software with ads.
Consider the Poco F2 Pro instead as it's priced attractively, but also with dependable build quality. It also comes with great specs as I mentioned somewhere else.
If you like photography then a Mi Note 10 is for you. It's a toughly-built phone.
Same like an iPhone SE and its fast chipset but beware of its tiny battery and thick bezels, with small screen. It also has IP rating.
You can consider a Huawei Nova 7 (not sure about price, but it should cost like $400-$500) if you don't need GMS.

I've Pocophone f1 top variant 8gb ram & 256 stoarge size.
i had purchased this phone 2 years back & it still cost me 27000 INR.
Oneplus being an Mid-Range smartphone is still charging 28000 INR & After few months 25 INR.
At this Point of time, Poco F1 Top Variant will cost somewhere in between 18000 INR To 20 INR.
It does as Old Flagship Chipset and Performance is yet so good as well as Memory card Slot & Above Decent/Average as compare to today's Flagship phones and also, it has 3.5mm jack audio jack port too.,
I'd go an buy another pocof1 and back cover skin or Solid Good looking backover yet i will save alot of money xD
If not pocophone then, Realme X2 pro, Oppo A92s, Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite or Xiaomi Redmi 10X or various other brands that can offer good features in lower price.
Its just hype for mid-range phone by oneplus.
Because, i dont remember last time when did Oneplus even advertise in such a way to create a hype for ther flagship phones.
ask your self when do u create hype of something, its only when the product is super awesome or super disappointing.

All those that claim this phone will not crack "in the real world," must have never waited for the delivery of something heavy and important where you need to carry the final meters to your home. That's when people, in the stress of the moment, put the phone in the back pocket. Then, they bend their legs to carry the object (putting stress on the phone), sometimes even forgetting the phone is there and sitting on it afterwards.
That is just real life gentlemen, not the perfect bubble you may idealize.

Well marketing phone ...
No doubt.
In the outcome test ,and I mean results in real life test. not durability ...
It's not that impress.
It have some cons over competitors
But overall it's a lot of hype, on well marketing mobile.. in the end of day see mkhbd reviews also it failed to impressed in the mid range segment.
