Wow a lot of people in youtube comments are noticing how incredibly 'soft' Zack was on the Nord... They have a point, usually when phone gets completely obliterated like this he immediately starts to roast it and put it in a hall of shame, but this time he goes like "durability is only one aspect to consider, still a great phone, etc..."
Did JerryRigEverything really sell out to OnePlus?

And about the op nord bending:dont be scared. As much as i dont like it there is nothing wrong with the build quality, there is almost zero chance for a bending as shown in the video. If tou like it go for it.
Or my suggestion is if you dont mind a 2019 flagships you can easily find a p30 pro, note 10 lite, s10 plus for example for around 400 on ebay with atleast one year warranty from a reputable sellers. Top specs for a wery reasonable price

Hello. I am in the market for a new phone. Wanted to buy the Nord but due of this bending test I skip it. Now I am thinking of an oppo ace2. Does that phone bend? I do not play games just surfing WhatsApp. Need very good battery life and fast charging and good screen. Prefer wireless charging. 5 g I do not know. Maybe will be handy for the future. No iPhone .. I do not like the brand. And Samsung mostly has problems with battery life. Now I own an Asus maxbpto m1 . That has good battery life. Thanks for replying. Budget max 400 or 500 dollar.

Instead, it didn’t want to kill is own premium offerings because if it were metal people will happily go after Nord at 1/2 price point than something way too high for them..... this mobile is only for a small group of entry level buyers. May not be available in huge numbers. They will probably offer only in small quantity flash sales like Honor mobiles. No wonder this is not even available in USA

My colleague has zenfone 5z and every since she bought it (new), it shows both LCD and touchscreen problem (sometimes LCD won't turn on, sometimes touch delays). The phone itself still in great shape (no dent or crack or get into water). When she tried to claim the warranty, Asus kind of denied that there's some problems with the hardware and refuse it. The phone still acts like this till this day.

OnePlus is now following Xiaomi they have become overly cheap too with the choice of build materials. They don't build them like before...

Cheap is expensive next year you buy another one $450 + $450 = $900 just save and buy a flagship use it 3 - 4 years upgrade and your older phone will still work as a mobile hotspot

Either a XDA Developer or Android Authority reviewer (forgot which one, but XDA more likely) accidentally dropped the 7T from a desk and it just shattered.
OnePlus just doesn't have consistent build quality. 8 Pro, according to XDA, has risk of screen discoloration.
